@TehSeanRadcliffe where do you hear a bassdrop? sorry, that's just the combination of the 7 string, ibanez 5 string and addictive drums with a pretty fat mixing/mastering. I don't use bass drops. cheers
Great metal licks...Hey i have question, What size strings do u use? This my 1st 7string purchase, and in the past ive used 42 E and 9e, but this new set is hella thicker, what is a good one for quick solos for a 7string? thanks
@FACLESSFABIAN I think it was 52-10 but I'm not sure. on my 6 string I habe 63-13 at the moment and I'm pretty happy with them. But I usually play bass, guitar is just for fun, so I'm used to really thick strings. maybe you try the DR Dimebag's 52-10. or the Kerry King 7 string set, you should be happy with them!
Does the neckplate bother you when you play in the higher register? and is the floyd rose good? I'm thinking about buying this guitar or spending more on something with a neck-thru... thx
@tubaeli93 no floyd rose on this guitar. just on the damien elite. plays good from the 1st to the 24th fret, no problem for solos. yeah for thar price it's a good 7 string, but the pickups aren't the best as you can hear, a bit muddy in my opinion. check out the C7 Blackjack ATX. one of the best 7 strings in my opinion. feels great, sounds great. but the damien 7 is okey
@12matty31 i agree haha, this is really good man, I'm looking to Buy a 7 String, for my band and stuff, the 6 Strings just isn't doing it for me anymore, i want more Power, how are the Pick-ups on this guitar? should i invest in Switching them out?
@Ghostofgrace92 I'm not a big EMG fan, and the B string sounds bit muddy as you can hear. you should invest some money in good pickups. If you want a thick metal tone you should put in some Seymour Duncan Blackouts (I also upped a video to show the sound of them) and if you want more tonality for progressive styles Dimarzio Crunchlab + Liquifire would be good. hope I could help you a bit :)
wo hast du die her? ich glaub wenn ich mir wieder eine kauf, dann a 7-saiter;-) die schecter diamond hellraiser find ich geil...aber da gibts eine mit floyd rose und eine mit den saiten durch den korpus... :D a traum wär natürlich die musicman john petrucci signature gitarre, aber wer hat schon über 3000euro für ne gitarre übrig ;-)

beim piano werner ausgeliehn. an sich ganz gute gitarre, pickups haben mich nicht überzeugt aber ich bin eifnach kein emg fan :D
ja die hellraiser is ned übel aber ich würd mir mal die blackjack atx ansehn, killer teil wenn du sagst du brauchst kein floyed rose ;)
