  • JFT 96

  • Justice for the 96 - Celtic fan.

    You'll Never Walk Alone

  • RIP the 96 innocents JFT 96 and YNWA from a Manchester United fan

  • To all those who ever attended a football match back then.

Love Liverpool or hate them, remember this.

It is only by the grace of god that the memorial isn't at our club's ground - with our own name upon it.

Hillsbrough could have happened at any ground in the country, and regardless of whose fans it did happen to - they're all people, with families and loved ones.

Football rivaly goes out of the window when something like this happens. I hope the families find the resolution they seek.

  • JohnTerryLegend26 you are sick. How disrespectful to those who lost their lives and to their families.

  • cunt.

  • @Ebeneeza That cop? Agreed.

  • All this excitement over a game of kicking a ball around.

  • So according to this full film who was to blame for this?

  • Novadrian@ all those fans YOU and a lot of others blame were guilty of two things only - Passion and love of their club! That's all!

  • If the Police hadn't opened the gates people would have died outside, and they would be blamed now for causing a tragedy by not opening the gates. The ulltimate blame lies with those fans who were pushing and shoving and climbing walls to get in. Crowds are dangerous. If you push and shove people die. All that remains now is to remember those who died and prevent it happening again, and so far that's what's been done.

  • @novadrian exactly crowds are dangerous. that's why crowd control is important. but the police failed to control the crowd.instead they allowed the crowd to build into dangerous proportions. in previous years they filtered fans down into leppings lane,in 1989 they didnt.police failed to form fans into queues, caused a despersate situation then opened the gate. they didnt even block access to the already full pens by having stewards on the tunnel. one total balls up followed by a pack of lies

  • @novadrian The police could have delayed the match to let the remaining fans in. If they'd done that then there might not have been such a rush. They then could have blocked entry into the tunnel to the already full areas. Once you're in that tunnel you can't get out. You can't go back because there are people there, and the people at the back weren't to know that the tunnel was full so they're not going to back away. Crowds are dangerous and the police are the ones who have to control the crowd

  • If the Police hadn't opened the gates people would have died outside, and they would be blamed now for causing a tragedy by not opening the gates. The ulltimate blame lies with those fans who were pushing and shoving to get in. Crowds are dangerous. If you push and shove people die.

  • Ok South Yorkshire Police wernt at there best with this situation but it doesnt make them mass murderers. The disaster shouldnt have happened and yes should of been controlled better but I mean for example why were the Liverpool fans climbing over the wall in the first place? Why didn't they just wait patiently? Im not blaming Liverpool fans at all here Im just merely stating that it's an unfair representation of The South Yorkshire Police.

  • @owlzkyle well yh.... the poilce aint bad i mean they only said that the fans forced a gate open which they didnt and couldn't even orginise a straight line

  • does anyone have a link for the whole movie

    RIP 96

  • the TRUTH. JFT96

  • The sun will never apologise for being sensationist, lying, dirty, worthless bastards. I am a man utd fan, and it hurts to watch anything related to that day. it is clear that the cowards in charge of safety froze, and tried to lie their way out of their mistakes. unless someone has a bit of human decency, they will never be held accountable.

  • Never seen this but just from that clip it looks like to be a very affecting piece of drama. Jimmy McGovern, I salute you.

  • I think he meant if we don't open the gate, someone won't be killed!

  • england is beautiful in so many ways.

  • will dance on mackeinzes and ducjenfields grave, lying cuns

  • Why has the sun never apologized over their lies?

  • @HateFenians kenny told the boss at the sun, kelvin mckenzie to put a headline saying "we lied" and said "then you might be alright" Kelvin replied "icannot do that"...wanker. so they just wont because of there pride i think which is still retarted.

  • @jonesylad3 kenn then replied "then i cannot help you"

  • @HateFenians because they know it would tarnish their image, it would be the same as saying to the public ''we are sick irrespsonsible liers''. They don't want to risk their sales and looks like it's worked. They've have got away with it, and they carry on publishing their shit and people read it.

  • Who wants to buy a shitty paper like the sun anyway, when there's always the internet to get "pure" truth.

  • @HateFenians Because they are scum. I wouldn't wipe my arse with that publication, and I'm a Man United fan. They are a massive company who don't give a fuck what people think of them, they print what the fuck they want. They still print shite about football today, they still print slanderous lies about people today. I may hate Liverpool FC for 90 minutes on Sunday but no-one deserves to have that written about them. We are all football fans, we all share a fellow fans pain, Stretford End or Kop

  • @Mikeb1001 Well said mate, I can't stand the Munich songs either for the same reason. Footballing rivalries aren't bigger than compassion for loss.

  • South Yorkshire Police. FUCKING MURDERERS.

  • @PersianPaladin Not really.

  • @toweronepower

    Not now, no.

  • It's been taken down. Obviously someone doesn't want to be held accountable for their actions. This film tells the damn truth.

  • In everyway shape and form it does your ABSOUETLY correct my friend!!

  • The IMDb page says that this movie is on YouTube in its entirety. Has it been taken down? I can't find it.

  • @TravistheSky

It was taken down when this DVD was released, which is fair enough, except that the Youtube version was the uncut 1996 version. One (real life) character is missing from the DVD and 2009 TV versions after they complained about their portrayal on screen. This only amounts to about 40 seconds but it's still annoying...

  • @BillyIsATwat23 I've got the original broadcast. what part is missing from the new version? I was there and it is very painful to watch still

  • fantastic wat u mean by that ?

  • @007Makz

"Fantastic" was Christopher Eccleston's Doctor Who catch phrase.

shirliechau is making a joke, don't worry about it.

  • fantastic.
