Is that you, Eric? Nottingham University in the late 1980s, night time vista painted on your room wall. You borrowed my Beatles tape in 1986.

@21shergar Sounds like me. I was at Nottingham during the 1986-7 academic year. I don't remember borrowing anyone's Beatles tape, but it's entirely possible.

Actually, I don't remember a vista painted on my wall, but I do remember pasting all kinds of tickets and bits of paper from things (shows, hall party flyers, etc.) all over it. Long time ago.

So who are you anyway? "21shergar" isn't ringing any bells! And how did you stumble upon this strange little video?

We weren't close friends, but your room was close to my friend's. I do clearly remember your being bundled out of Paul Smith's room when you came up to C East during a performance of a show in which you featured. I think your words were, "Hot Dam!"

As for stumbling across this video, your name came to mind for some reason and I searched: simple as that.
