just get a DVI cable. its the BEST quality you can get, and some already have audio integration so u dont need an adapter.

in addition to the dvd and bluray tests. I also test turn based, rts, fps, rpg, and racing pc games on all of those four displays. guess what? SAME GREAT RESULTS REGARDLESS of which cable i chose to use. Finally out of all the cables I tried ( Monster brand, an off brand I got from Big Lots bargain store, Phillips, Sony)..THEY ALL PERFORMED THE SAME. in the dvd and blu ray tests.i also tried AVI ripped dvds and blue rays as well as mp4 converted, WMV, AND MKV. again. all performed the same.

people.You can buy into the bs hype all ya want, & in the end you're only bullshitting yourselves. a $10 hdmi 1.3 cable will perform THE SAME as a $100 1.3 hdmi cable. I HAVE TESTED THIS on a 47" 120hz lg lcd tv, a 32" 60hz samsung lcd tv, a 27" 2560x1440 60 hz dell u2711 monitor, and a 240hz samsung 46" led lcd tv. I spent 5 min straight at 3 ft away from the tvs/monitors watching dvd & blu rays,& 9 ft away. NO GHOSTING,no lag,no breaking of pixels. same with 1.4a. further more..

Personally i think their tv and peripherals are overpriced and they don't outperform other brands with lower price. Low-End Bravia for example, color contrast loses to Samsung and Sharp from side-by-side comparison. Sony HDMI, 15 bucks, you can get 4 more of these on monoprice at that price, there are a huge list of positive reviews too. PS3 is an exception, it's a great console that bypass your buy for blu-ray player haha!

I just bought a HDMI cable yesterday to see what it does and what the big fuzz is about. I have to say i am impressed. All of my televisions were running with the Component HD cables. I also like the clean sharp look that my PS3 Xross Media Bar gets. Digital is way better then analog. Also a guy at best buy told me to never buy Cheap HDMI cables but to buy expensive cables instead and he also said to be sure its Gold plated. Why is it so importaint to be Gold? my cable was around $41 bux +tax

I bought this it works with ps3 and 360 and the thing I like about it that it is very dourable I have bought about 4 cheap ones and each one got double teamed by my dogs this one has lasted about a year. This is a must buy don't buy the ones that are expensive this on Is 30 dollors they can't get better than this

Hdmi cable have 2 categories

category 1 is for those hdmi cable that are under 5 metres

category 2(high-speed) is for those hdmi cable which can be as big as 15 metres.

@PIaystationGuy definately i being trying to find ps3 vga cable like vga for my xbox 360 YOU CAN NOTICE THE DIFFRENCE VGA IS FAR BETTER IT EVEN SAYS IN THE VIDEO AT 1:03 wqxga is vga oh and vga's have screws, designed for lcd's as the lcd tv came from the pc lcd monitor with vga.

I got the sony hdmi cable for the ps 3, and it worked good. before I connect it to my new Onkyo reciver, now it seems to be slower, like the demo on this video, does any one knows if this is supose to happend? I got the Sony hdmi cable going from the ps 3 to the reciver, and diffrent brand of hdmi going from the reciver to the tv, do I need to get another Sony hdmi or it's not going to make a diference? Please Help!!!!!

ok im confused i have the last cable they showed here and i also have a monster cable which delivers the same 10.2gbps but the sony one delivers the 120 and 240hz refresh rate which one would be better? Also is there a difference in having a 15.2gbps to a 10.2gbps?
