Canadian Healthcare Crisis

If I am a small business owner employing 50 to 100 people and I don't have the burden of having to pay healthcare costs for my employees, I can work my employees more hours and pay them more an hour. Under this new obamacare, I would have to give even more money to the insurance companies and cut my number of employees and pay them less. Universal healthcare for all is the way to go.

We are being lied to in the USA about universal healthcare. There will always be a healthcare crisis when you let every illegal come in and loot the healthcare system and Canada has weak immigration laws like the US so citizens have to wait in back of the line for all the illegals to get treated first. People from the US are sneaking into Canada to get treated.

Has a American,we too have a shortage of Doctors,nurses,long wait times,depending on the hospital,and costs,well I was recently treated for leukemia before my insurance the bill was $120 thousand dollars and I'm not 100% done,Private care is great if you have the money and insurance,by the way even if you have insurance it can still bankrupt you.

Private health care kills the poor, because they can not afford to pay the premiums. The public health care covers the entire population. Apparently, Canada's problem is that there is a lot of old people and they have a lot of different diseases. This increases the cost. Younger people are healthier.

It covers everyone in terms OF INSURANCE POLICY. DOnt confuse delivery and coverage terms&conditions. Yes we have the "no questions asked" coverage without discrimination. That's not the problem. The problem is delivery. Look at EU countries. They are all ahead of us. What's wrong by having private companies managing hospitals, etc , but government legislating universality. You want to be in business in health insurance, hospitals, clinics, etc , CLAIM DENIAL IS ILLEGAL

You are right, but there are old people in every country. The problem with socialized health care is that it places enormous strains on large governments, especially the taxpayers, which in Canada and America mean the highest earning families. It punishes hard work and success, and reinforces the idea that you can get what you want because someone else will work hard to pay for it. It kills innovation and the desire to succeed, because those who don't work have it easier. It's short-sighted :(

If health care costs are growing, maybe the government should shut down a few fast food restaurants. Honestly, I hate seeing all you fat fuckers out there and think about how my taxes go to cover the heart attack you get to have one day.
