You probably don't have to be worried at all, you're simply just too far away from Iceland. I'm from Norway and here we've noticed just a bit of ash (rather tiny particles, asthmatics are adviced to stay indoors). The thing that I find fascinating is that the weather has changed, it's colder and significantly more windy.
