The v6 will definitely make more power than the v8 with any forced induction if the 8 is stock. To keep up with the 8(in stock form) the v6 only needs a cam, a tune, and few minor mods like an intake.

nothing wrong with the v6, its still a 3.8L what nipper car u buying with a 3.8 stock? infact, where u getting a rear wheel drive car with a 3.8? throw a duel exzaust on er extra 17-25+hp. got the sound and look of a v8, and for the girls worried about gas, its cheaper then the v8.
you wont get 17-25hp from just dual exhaust maybe 15 at max if you do headers, midpipe, and catback. it wont sound like a v8, and ull need the rear bumper to make it look somewhat like a v8. just becaust it doesnt sound like an 8 though, it doesnt mean it sounds bad. its just its a 6, not an 8. i have a v6 mustang and i love it, but ive heard many different exhaust set ups, none will get 17-24 and make a v8 sound. the 3.8s arent reactive enough to make 17-24 from exhaust...unfortunately. :(

ya, ive heard the average is somewhere between 8-10 hp from aftermarket exhaust companies. and u need to be careful and keep the exhaust piping 2.25" (or 2.5" AT MAX). any higher and you will lose tq, wich is want really matters when racing. the 3.8s sound best when they are quiet, but throaty. ive heard very few loud v6s that still keep a nice throaty sound, but those who manage to do is have an amazing car.
the buick grand national has a 3.8 liter v6(turbo) pontiac grand prix comes with a 3.8 v6 the gmc syclone/typhoon has a 3.8l sorry guy 3.8's are common

well i was only 17 when i bought my car for 7600...i only bought a v6 cuz mom and dad wouldnt let me get a v8 cuz i got to many speeding tickets in my truck...so i make the payments and im only in high school...cool so yea after i graduate and my car is paied off im trading it in for the new camaro...i already have a good bit of money saved up for it.....so good job with ur 32k car....

nothing wrong with the v6, its still a 3.8L what nipper car u buying with a 3.8 stock? infact, where u getting a rear wheel drive car with a 3.8? throw a duel exzaust on er extra 17-25+hp. got the sound and look of a v8, and for the girls worried about gas, its cheaper then the v8.

you wont get 17-25hp from just dual exhaust maybe 15 at max if you do headers, midpipe, and catback. it wont sound like a v8, and ull need the rear bumper to make it look somewhat like a v8. just becaust it doesnt sound like an 8 though, it doesnt mean it sounds bad. its just its a 6, not an 8. i have a v6 mustang and i love it, but ive heard many different exhaust set ups, none will get 17-24 and make a v8 sound. the 3.8s arent reactive enough to make 17-24 from exhaust...unfortunately. :(

yea i was kinda thinkin that, but the specs say it doesn, i think the sound level in a stock v6 is 3.5 and with a duel upgrade the sound level will only go up to 5.5, now im thinkin it would put 12hpMAX, buts specs are specs. its been done at some point, juss from your everyday garage.

ya, ive heard the average is somewhere between 8-10 hp from aftermarket exhaust companies. and u need to be careful and keep the exhaust piping 2.25" (or 2.5" AT MAX). any higher and you will lose tq, wich is want really matters when racing. the 3.8s sound best when they are quiet, but throaty. ive heard very few loud v6s that still keep a nice throaty sound, but those who manage to do is have an amazing car.

2. No girl I know likes a nissan or honda over a mustang either. But that's if a guy is driving it. Most girls wouldnt BUY a brutish stang over a slow convertible cutie-pie car. But they also wouldnt like to see a guy in a "cute" kind of car...
3. I own a slightly modified Mustang GT myself if you didnt notice in my last post. Maybe 50hp over stock, and I chose it over a Z.
4. G37 and new 370z can probably take the 08 GT.
