I love the goemon games, but they fucked this show up when they decided to have the series revolve around some geek and goemon coming out of the game.

The show should have followed Goemon and the gang as they battle evil doers in feudal japan.

@Kristanni20X6 The Japanese are a little different in regard to the concepts and words their children use/learn. Although not that different as most european/american children have a concept of hell and people of, shall we say, ill repute. Also, keep in mind that translations vary and at times companies take some pretty wild liberties with them. This was very much aimed at children.

@KingTaco7 Watch a Japanese children's show like Devil Children or Hikarian, trust me, this is very much a children's anime. Devil Children is a great example, it's a show about kids summoning/meeting demons. From a western perspective it's not exactly kid friendly, it went on for two seasons in Japan. You can find two of the GBA games in the west, Demi Kids Light and Demi Kids Dark. Western ratings don't indicate an eastern show's target audience.
