This is such a beautiful and complicated song. It proves that love isn't the only thing in the whole wide world. It's much more important to respect the individual than the couple- love may feel like the greatest thing in the world, but it is dangerous and damaging and ultimately violent if it isn't 100% true and illusionary.

I do not doubt that you like the song, but you do not understand it. The song is describes the importance of love, its driving power and the ultimate sadness in the realization that you, as the lover, may ultimately be the thing to ruin the subject of your love. This fully captures the ultimate truth about love, the realization that it is more important to love than to feel loved, and that love without regard to it's consequences is all but egoistic.
