The palce was deserved, why she didn´t sing is Danish!!! In English is just a ballad very similar to anothers,,,and with a poor lysrics.

Oh yes,she looks extremely nervous and affraid.Like she is not controlled on the song.Especially in some parts.The performance brings nothing new but the song is one of the most beautiful in Eurovision for me.

This show (2002) counting from 2009 is the first really lowbudget .. stage I guess a population of Iceland would do same they are only like 10% of this country ..crappy

You don't have to make a huge stage to make a great show. Personaly I didn't like the 2009-setting bacause the gigantic stage completely overshadowed the soloists and the songs.

I think it's great that ETV was able to fund the event in 2002 so it could take place in Estonia - the Estonian can be proud of this arrangement

i hated the stage in moscow, too. it was way too big! and i like this stage a lot although it's not one of the best seen..

Jeg tror ikke folk går ind og undersøger hvilken regering det pågældende land har før de stemmer på sangen :)

Nabo-pointafgivninger var heller ikke så alvorlig på det tidspunkt, så det har nok ikke haft nogen indflydelse.

Måske syntes Europa bare ikke at live-præstationen var god nok, hvilket formentlig trak meget ned på antallet af stemmer. Desuden var det en meget anonym sang men Malene fortjente nu stadig en bedre placering ;)

Maybe not the most self-assured performance but still a good mainstream pop song. That year definitely had worse. It's sad how the times have changed; in the 90s, a woman could stand alone on stage and sing a song and come top-5 or even win. The show is way overrated nowadays.

Problem was that there was not a show, it was a lady on a scene.. She is clearly petrified and that is just not on in Eurovision!
