I don't think so i mean electronic is a rather broad term. Both dubstep and trace could be classified under it.

Mt edens music shares all but the standard rhythm of dubstep. But then so does 90% of trance people listen to know (traditionally trance has a slow bpm, but the bigger names in trance now are producing much faster trance). And well not even most dubstep meet the traditional rhythm rules, i mean skrillex absolutely doesn't understand it at all, and smashes switches.
