  • That's possibly the most unattractive thing I've ever seen...

  • you know I really don't miss the staph infection on my knee at all. lol Ive broken bones, burns, torn ligs/tendons everything...and staph hurts more than any of that!

  • @JoshMcGrath98 Wow. You've had a lot of injuries! That's terrible! But I'm glad you're feeling better now!

  • not to be morbid but doesnt staph kill ??

  • @TheFlacker99 It certainly can, yes. If the infection stays in your body long enough, it can spread to your y, bloodstream and infect other organs. Also, a form of staph infection called MRSA can be very hard on your body, because this type of staph is resistent to the usual antibiotics. The sooner you get treatment, the better.

  • eeew ahha i'm getting better from one like that, it was on my shin, they had to put a wick in it like that after they drained it, it was sooooo disgusting, they took tweezers and stuck them like 1/2"-3/4" into my shin but it wasnt completely numb yet >.< hurt like a sonofagun

  • I had 2 on my armpit. They were huge. And I hate packing it. It gets easier.

  • @cheezy50001 Two at one time? That sounds miserable! I'm sorry you went through that. But I know you'll be okay!

  • i had that to it hurt so bad I had 2 of them on my left breasts.

  • @phoenix26x Wow, Phoenix, I'm so sorry you had to go through that! It's not a good experience at all, but thankfully, it's over now!

  • what horrible neils!!!!!

  • Unless you are diabetic I'd think, with the antibiotics of these days, you should heal up OK. Best of luck, Ma'am.

  • @KJV1611ASV1901 Thank you very much! I am not diabetic, and I have healed wonderfully. Thanks again for the comment!

  • Ive had infections like this twice now. Once straight on my knee cap, this time on my shoulder blade. Weird thing is that the worst pain was before they got fully formed. after they opened up, i couldnt feel shit. Got two "bullet holes " now

  • We wanted to see the doctor drain it and see what he got out of it.

  • @Angryrnmedic I wanted to film the actual draining process, too. But the hospital wouldn't let me. They said I would have to sign some kind of waiver for liability reasons or something. But it would have been cool, though!

  • you need to take a shower

  • @WearMyBoxers These infections come from a bacteria called Staphylococcus. This type of bacteria are all over everything, no matter how clean you try to be. Most species of Staphylococcus are harmless, however, a select number cause the staph infection. If you have a break in your skin (i.e. a cut), the bacteria enter that way and cause the infection.

  • I had staph and MRSA at the same time. My legs were crushed with bones sticking out. I got infected at the hospital. I was very close to death from this shit. It took over a year of IV antibiotics to get rid of it. If your in the hospital and feel a fever coming on and feel weak tell a doctor as soon as possible. Do'nt mess around with this shit because it can kill fast. Good luck.

  • Well im watching other people documentations and am I the only one that had to have surgery with mines? Because I was in the hospital for a whole week and when they pulled the stuffing out it felt like electricity or something, I just hated the feeling...

  • @Armaniwazhere I doubt the doctors would bother performing surgeries on abscesses this small. First one i got, i cleaned it out myself. I waited for the pus to solidify slightly, so that I could just pull it out with tweezers.

  • I got one after my septum piercing . yep hurt like hell.

  • i just wonder how come its only americans who get these infections?

  • I think will vomit sorry! what happen?

  • what is the main cause of staff? It's seriously my biggest fear. I have nightmares about it and I think every little bump or pimple I get anywhere on my body is going to turn into staff. I have this unreasonable phobia of staff and MRSA. I can't stop watching these vids!!

  • I am a 32 year old single mom and have HS, I have been suffering with this same condition for almost 3 years now, and finally went into remission without antibiotics and creams. I still have small openings (they have not yet done surgery or anything for me) but the depression I'm suffering from this is just terrible. I wish doctors would stop playing God and just find something that works already.

  • looks like a tampon,

  • my baby had it when he was 1. they never had to pack it he had 2 right next to each other so when he had sugery they took a rubber band and put it in one hole and out the other. he had it in for 2 weeks. he was in the hospital for 4 days cause his temp got up to 105 and they had to do a spinal tap on him

  • so are you just chilling in the ER with your blackberry filming? hahah thats cute

  • @MsSkylar12 LOL, I actually had my digital camera there with me. I wanted to film the doctor actually draining it, but they wouldn't let me because of liability reasons or something. As disgusting as that looks, the worst part was the anesthesia injections!

  • aw owe :( how do these appear?

  • @MsSkylar12 These infections come from a bacteria called Staphylococcus. This type of bacteria are all over everything, no matter how clean you try to be. Most species of Staphylococcus are harmless, however, a select number cause the staph infection. If you have a break in your skin (i.e. a cut), the bacteria enter that way and cause the infection.

  • hahhaha omg if u could c my face! lol...i just had a staph infection and went to the er for it! it was right below my knee! that stuffing they put in ur leg once u remove it is a never ending string isnt it! lol did u pull it out urself or go bak 2 the er?...i dnt kno about u but actually the part that hurt me the most was wen the dr numbed the area with the needle ;( hows ur leg now?

  • Your story sounds just like mine! I had one minor staph infection below my knee, and the major one I documented here was above it. That gauze they stuff into it really is a never-ending string! It reminds me of the magician's scarves that just keep going and going. I actually pulled out the gauze myself. I was so scared that it would hurt really bad, but it didn't! And the numbing with the needles hurt me the most, too! My leg is fine now, though. Thanks! Get well soon!

  • thank u :) hehehe i said the same thing about the magician scarves lol...i was too much of a chicken to do it myself so i had my dad do it lol...i had it done in october nd i hate it cus i still feel numbness in the area,,,well hope ur all well now tooo :)

  • Me too The never ending string! And the smell eww

  • can we see your FACE I THINK THE PEOPLE WANNA KNOW LOL yea your nails are hot but damn girl that shit on your body is not cool but it happens so anyways lets see the face already

  • @rockywb00 Thanks for the compliment on my nails. If it helps, that's my picture in the top right-hand corner next to my user name.

  • k azko m dio azko azta bomite asssh

  • Nicely manicured fingernails!!

  • Hehehe, thank you!

  • whats a staph?

  • Staphylococcal (bacterial) infection

  • i had 8 staphs.and the were painful.i had 2 bite on a towel cuz of the pain

  • Wow. that's pretty astonishing. I hope you heal completely and I hope you never get another staph infection again!

  • Jesus. Learn to clean yourself.

  • its waz half my fault and my dads.i use 2 get em when i waz younger.i thought water waz lyk acid and my dad worked in the jails were staph is common.i ened up catching it.and once in a while it wud pop up again.now im staph freeeee

  • why you have all that scars and multiple back coming infections?

    What says the Doc?

  • I only got two infections, each on a part of my leg. When I got the first one, the doctor didn't drain it . . . I guess that's because I had to go to a free clinic, and the doctor didn't want to spend the money to drain it.. That lack of care the first time could be why it returned a second time, which is what you see in the video.

  • You need a special antibiotic therapy who is based on a blood check. May you need to change food or more!

    Good bless you!

  • A medical professional will often perform blood tests to confirm a diagnosis. From there, he or she will decide on the best treatment for you. And while people should eat healthier foods in general, a staph infection has nothing to do with one's diet. Thus, one does not "need to change food." For more info, click on the article link in "more info." Thanks for commenting!

  • Staph aint shit! i had MRSA in my toe and almost had to get it amutated then a year later had it in my knee down to the bone and had to get that drained and the thing sticking out is not gause it's called a lace... but sorry for your incounter with staph....

  • They diagnosed me with MRSA the first time I had the infection. And I know what you mean about the lace. When people hear the word gauze, they tend to think of the square sheets. This stuff was a long string. P.S., Your case sounds *HORRIBLE*. I hope you get well soon.

  • fun fun fun. I had one on my leg they stuffed three deterrent times before it healed. It was a bitch.

  • That sounds lousy! Staph is definitely not a force to be reckoned with. Glad you're feeling somewhat better now.

  • staph is caused by air born bacteria and it also canbe cause by having a cut and touching it with your hands or shaveing with someone else's razor . when they start to form they will come up to a little pimple looking thing with clear liquid if you see this do not pop with hands pop with a needle and pup rubbing alcohol on it. this will keep it from getting infected hope i could be of help:)

  • get well to anyone with this or soon to lol anyone know what are the main causes of staph?

  • Hey WorldOfBoomCraft,

I keep trying to post a comment, but YouTube is being weird, and they won't go through. So I'll try a third and final time. LOL.

Staph is caused by a particular strain of bacteria that enters your body through a break in the skin. Go to the video info and click on the link to the article. It tells you everything you need to know.

  • I had the exact same thing happen to me. Mine started from a torn muscle from skateboarding and they did surgery twice.

  • That sucks, and I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you're feeling better now. It seems like I had it good with my Staph infection!

  • was ist das den iihhhhh *kotz*

  • Dat is ne ganz normale infektion mit Kokken

  • it hurts???

  • It did, yes. The infection itself was hard like a rock, very warm, and quite infected. So the infection hurt, but when I went to the ER to have it drained, that hurt worse. The doctor had to inject it with an anesthesia needle several times. Then he pushed the infection out. Then he had to stuff it with gauze so the wound stayed open and the infection could drain out. Painful but neccessary.

  • want to ask how do you get this

  • I tweezed an ingrown hair on my leg, and the bacteria entered my body that way. Also, for whatever reason, staph was very prevalent on my college campus at the time.

  • then dont look at it!!!!!!!!

  • "Stuffed me like a turkey" Nice.

  • i had staph on the back of my thigh and i tried to pop it myself a couple of times and it got to be about 5 inches in diameter and about an inch deep and i had to get it sliced and drain 2 times and packed 3 times with no numbing medicine it sucked lol

  • Wow! My experience was bad enough *WITH* anesthesia. I hope you're completely healed now.

  • Just don't date a blind guy. He might get the orifices mixed up.

  • Thanks a ton! The worst was when the doctor was injecting it with local anesthesia. That hurt! Sorry about your infection. I hope that clears up. Ive completely recovered from my Staph infection. All I have now is a whitish scar.

  • Actually, the Staph was all over my college campus. I tweezed an ingrown hair and it entered my system that way. What you see here is the resulting mess.

  • I kept waiting for the gauze to be taken out.... disappointing!

  • stay away from bad cock, girly

  • Your mother should have swallowed. Or just aborted you when she had the chance.

  • Zing! What can you expect from frozenfartlicker?

  • hahaha nicely said... is the gauze painful to take out? or have you had to yet?

  • Frozen,

That was some harse commenting...and very funny as well.

  • UM YEAH MYRSA IS A BAD INFECTION,LEAVES A GAPING SCAR AS WELL,IT SUCKS,AND VERY DEADLY IF NOT TAKEN CARE OF,.IM SO GLAD YOU HAD IT DRAINED,YOU DO KNOW YOU NEED A VIGOROUS REGIMIN OF BACTRIM RIGHT??/TRUST ME WE ALL HAD IT,ALL FROM ONE VISIT TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE WHERE SOEMONE HAD IT,,,IT WILL SPREad like wildfire,,,good luck!!!

  • Thanks. I did take Bactrim for both of my Staph infections. I think Bactrim is the weakest weapon against Staph, though. There are antibiotics that are quite a bit stronger, although I haven't tried them. You're right, though - Staph is a very aggressive infection!

  • it looks nastyyy I would not want to have that it painful!! and where did this girl get that it nasty as hell

  • "This girl" that you're referring to is me. It was not fun, I can tell you that! This particular staph infection was on the outer part of my upper thigh, just above my knee.

  • have many do u have them on your body?

  • I got the first initial staph infection a number of years ago. It was less severe, and the hospital never drained it. That one healed completely, then I got the second, severe infection you see here. This one is also healed completely. That's two total.

  • wow i would not want to have that but anyways i bet your a pretty girl

  • Great..... another staph video of someone NOT USING GLOVES and openly touching the area around the staph infection.

PLEASE PEOPLE, WEAR FRIGGIN GLOVES AND BE SANITARY SO WE CAN STOP SPREADING THIS HORRIBLE INFECTION AROUND AND AROUND AGAIN!!

At some point, it's going to get so out of hand, that nothing will stop it.....

  • Omg. I would seriously. Faint into a coma. Seeing my doctor do that.

  • I literally almost did faint. You just don't know what it means to have a strong stomach until you watch a doctor slice your leg open and stick sharp surgical instruments in there!

  • When you said that he stuck the scissors into your leg, my leg twitched a littleo.O

  • Wow, hehehe. That's understandable though, because it's pretty nasty! Even watching it now, over a year later, it still makes my skin crawl.

  • What was that anyway ;s?

  • I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "that." If you mean the whole thing in general, it was a *staph infection.* Click on "More Info" by my picture for more info. If you meant the white thing sticking out of my leg, that's the gauze (I call it shoestring gauze) the doctor stuffed in the wound to hold it open so that the pus could drain out.

  • lol yea i had one too and he put a guaze in

it had to stay in for like 1-2 weeks i wasn't numbed either lol it hurt like hell and the day after i went to wild adventures.......its on my lower back

  • agh! christ that just -looks- painful.

cant imagine how it feels -.-'

  • I wasn't screaming in agony, but I was tempted to when the doctor injected the local anesthesia with a needle. Now that hurt! I hobbled around for a week or two after that, but I had some nice pain killers to help!

  • ...That looks so painful. I'm glad it's healed. It must have really sucked having to look at that or feel it.-shiver-

  • Aww thanks! It wasn't so bad, actually. The pain killers made everything okay, lol. But I do remember seeing my leg and thinking, "Eww is that really my leg?" It looked like something out of a movie!

  • You are the most pitiful, miserable excuse for a human being that I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. You are a walking advertisement for radical hysterectomies and birth control. Had you used BOTH your brain cells when you watched this, you would have seen that I never "picked at myself" during the entire movie. Furthermore, that is not how one gets a Staph Infection. Get it right, jackass. Thanks.

  • Which Staph was it, if I may ask...???

    Hope youre better now...

  • I'm not 100% sure but it might have been MRSA. But I didn't have the deadly strain, of course. And I am fully recovered now, thanks!

  • aww

  • I feel your pain. I had MRSA and it was drained from under my thumb nail and then they put like a cast on my thumb, and it got worse. Then they sqeezed the pus out of my thumb, and it was just awful!

  • bleaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhh

oooh i feel so itchy from watching that!!!!!

    daaamn!!!

  • the person who put tis on you tube is a freak

  • Take a look around . . . this is one of hundreds of similar videos on this site. You must have forgotten that some people probably see YOU as a freak for being a fan of musicals - or at least an implied one based on your user name. But I'm not about to get into an argument with you, because a dead cat would probably give me more intelligent responses. Bye!

  • Yes I am, thanks for asking! All that's left now is a textured scar. I do realize how lucky I was, considering the deadly strain that broke out right when I was infected!

  • Glad to hear it cleared up and your ok. :D

  • why would u put this on youtube...shame lol and it makes people sick....buh i kinda feel sorry 4 you..Cya

  • yeah be careful my mom just Died Tues night from a staph infection got in her blood and shit her Kidneys down.My Sister died Sept 26th 2007 from MRSA a different form of Staph infection right after she turned 27 ,went to the hospital several times with high fevers and boils with puss coming out . they just gave her antibiotics and sent her home ,till a few days she had to go back worse off. To late by that point...So REQUEST A MRSA test!! What can it hurt ? But can save ur life or a loved one!

  • I am so sorry for that! I know that doesn't really help, but my heart goes out to you! I hope you stay strong and are able to smile again some day soon. If you need to vent, feel free to send me a message!

  • Thanks so much for your caring.didnt get any from family during it.also made it worse that we were forced to go through and completely clear her house put the next day and had like 10 secs to decide if we were keeping something or not before my aunts put it on the curb.My 4 yr old has to go to the doctor tomorrow due to when he gets bit by mosqetoes it swells up they want to make sure..will make me feel better!I hope others will read stuff like this and take care of things like this.

  • I think ur full of it

  • Hey, "beblazinat420," I think - actually, I KNOW - you're a naive, uneducated, bitter, unbalanced prick. Bye asshole!

  • Don't feel bad dee2383, I am an EMT and I probably have seen and smelled worse things. Cool vid!!

  • My deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother and sister. You and your child are in my thoughts and prayers. I am glad you are having the child tested. With your family's history it is important to make sure he/she didn't get anything from contact with your loved ones. Everyone needs to be aware that Staph/MRSA has become a huge problem in many communities. Like the health care worker who got MRSA from a patient, other HCW and the community are more likely to get MRSA than HIV now. Take Care!

  • people are so stupid with commenting stop putting negative comments its childish and ignorant people have feelings and bad comments are un called for

  • Thanks!! I agree!

  • you are welcome i hate ignorance man this is here for us to comment niceley and if people dont want to watch dont watch and dont comment but hope you do good bye

  • what do they pull out of you when the pull that wird thing out of the wound

  • thats gauze

  • What a sucky vid

  • While everyone is entitled to an opinion, no one exactly twisted your arm to watch it. Sorry, you're not going to get a reaction out of me aide from this one. By the way, your screen name "ikillmofos" implies that you have the education level of a 6-year-old. Just thought I'd let you know that.

  • Thats how most staph infections start. A tiny break in the skin. I hope u r feeling better.

  • Thank you very much for that. I'm thriving now, and the only thing left of the infection is a scar and the memories, heehee!

  • howd u get this infection on u inner thigh? i mean waz if from using gym equipment like a bicycle?

  • Actually, my 1st infection was below my knee, on my outer shin. In that particular situation, I plucked an ingrown hair, and that created a tiny break in my skin. The bacteria entered my body through that tiny hole, and that's how I got that one. I never had it drained because it was so minor, and the infection returned a 2nd time, much worse. In the video, you see my 2nd infection, just above my knee, on my outer thigh. Read my video details for more info.

  • what did u put on it

  • Actually, you're not supposed to put anything on it at all. You'll just make the infection worse. The infection needs to drain. Using gloved hands and sterile tools, the doctor pushed shoestring-like gauze deep into the wound cavity, holding it open to enable draining. On top of that, he taped several layers of gauze, which I changed frequently. Three days later, I pulled out the shoestring gauze and continued changing the gauze. It took 2 months for the hole to close completely!

  • take more showers

  • I've already spoken to you about this once before. You are either just that stupid, or you're just trying to get a reaction from me. Either way, piss off, makeup boy. You must be a fan of makeup because you like to hide your inner and outer ugliness. Here's a better idea - stay inside your parent's basement and cry because the fact that you are even alive is a bitter disappointment to everyone around you. Have a nice life. You are now blocked.

  • U sound sexy lol

  • spoken like a true retard

  • Thanks, TrouserPickle! I agree!

  • To "PooPusher007": It's truly astonishing how some people just never stop being so stupid. It takes about 6 brain cells to know that Staph is not the result of alleged infrequent showering, but apparently you don't have the capacity to understand that. Your unsurpassed inferiority is sad. Again, it's really impressive how naive and uneducated some people are. Do your research before making comments, jackass. Me, 1. You, 0. Have a nice day. I am now blocking you.

  • You "PooPusher007" are a complete wanker! Childish name BTW! I hope u r like 8 years old to come up with a name like that! xo to ya dee62383

  • Thanks, Robert! :)

  • I wish you would have videoed the draining. That is the best part!

  • LOL, I know! :) I wanted to, but the nurse said I couldn't do that unless I signed a bunch of paperwork and stuff. It's crazy but it makes sense from a legal standpoint!

  • I had a staph infection by my knee..

That shit hurts soooo bad, especially when they give you a shot to cut it open! OH MY GOD! i was like screaming at the doctor dude! ew.. it just makes me HUHHH. all over.

  • Oh I hate the shot they give you to numb it! When the doctor sticks that needle in your skin, it hurts worse than the draining! Kinda gives you the 'heebie jeebies,' doesn't it?

  • You people make this so easy. All I have to do is copy and paste! So let me do that: "Wow, it's really impressive how naive and uneducated some people are. And since you're such an idiot, let me translate that for you: You're a dumbass. Do your research before making comments, jackass." Have a nice day. I am now blocking you.

  • How do you get staph infection? I never even heard of it....It looks pretty nasty!

  • a "staph infection" comes from a specific species of bacteria that enters your bloodstream through an opening of some sort, usually a cut. Always wash and cover your cuts carefully! Gyms and locker rooms can be breeding grounds for Staph too, so proceed with caution!

  • I had surgery in So.America 2 years ago,&when 2 incisions opened up due to thin skin, the doctor put granulated sugar mixed with betadine right in the wound. Sugar is a natural anti bacterial/betadine is to add xtra healing power. Nothing makes tissue regenerate faster than sugar either.google it. I thought it was crazy but the open incisions closed practically overnight after giving us absolute fits/never got any sort of infection. Its amazing. Keep it in mind for days w/no way to see a dr.

  • BUT is it wise for a wound to heal "Practically overnight" or even twice as fast, as it could trap infected skin and germs inside before the bodies immune system can sort itself out.

  • ummm...i caught MRSA from a patient i was working for... you aren't supposed to touch it! that chick is insane! i had to boil my clothes and spray my whole house with 91% alcohol! god! i hope she didn't catch it too. they predict that MRSA will kill more people than AIDS. i think you all should be more educated about it.

  • Wow, it's really impressive how naive and uneducated some people are. And since you're such an idiot, let me translate that for you: You're a dumbass. Do your research before making comments, jackass.

  • someguys are just soooo perverts -.-'

  • Thank you, I agree! It's people like mmurrer up there that give everyone else in his (or her) group a bad name!

  • What are you chuffing on about? :/

  • wats gawzz?

  • Actually, it's "gauze." Gauze is the white bandage material you can see in the video. Doctors use it to cover wounds.

  • Wow, that's not fun at all! Glad my video helped! Get well soon!

  • this is one more reason why you should douche!

  • Your ineptitude and mediocrity are two more reasons why you should kill yourself.

  • your a buttface

  • You are an insignificant child. This conversation is done. I am now blocking you.

  • i know how that feels, i had mrsa in my left ankle 4 months ago and i still oozes

  • Oh wow, I hope that starts looking better soon!

  • get well soon dee that looks uber painful :/

  • Thank you so much! As of today, there is nothing left of the Staph infection except a dark, flat scar. I'm all healed up! :)

  • good to hear dee, i pray i dont get staph infection then it looks nasty regardless

  • hi dee62383 glad to here your healed up. . i have an infected boil in my groin. . doc given me antibiotics. it burst yesterday the goo that came outstank it made me gip. my doc never mentioned staph but seeing your clip am sure ive got it. . . hope you keep well mate.

  • i kno ur in pain but u got long ass nails sorry hope u feel better

  • LOL, Staph infections are definitely uncomfortable. But I do love my long nails! :)

  • You could be the cleanest person in the world and STILL get staph.

I was paranoid that I got Staph from not showering enough but my doctor told me some people are just prone to it more than others.

  • lots of jews get it, because they don't shower

  • your voice makes me want to punch you in the throat!!

  • Your low self-esteem probably makes you want to kill yourself.

  • haha i loled. rederik23, you got pwned!
