I heard him singing Romeo a few days ago in Marseille. For me, it was a revelation. Beautiful and powerful voice, good french diction ( except the " an " ), presence: a very credible Romeo, certainly the best to take the place occupied by Alagna in the previous generation. I wish him a long and interesting career.
on behalf of Teodor (I guess!?!), I must thank his colleague for his appreciations and his councils! And I must agree with him when he says that Teodor is the best tenor in the ONB nowadays, it's my oppinion too!
Draga Teodor Ilincai felicitari ! Esti cel mai bun tenor ONB dupa parerea mea ; mai mult de 2-3 ani sa nu mai ramai aici ! Mai stai , iti mai faci repertoriu , ti-l cizelezi si gata , pleci . Poti sa duci un mare renume al Romaniei si in strainatate unde sigur vei fi platit in primul rand asa cum trebuie , dar si pretuit pe masura , nu aici la toti incultii si la cei care nu stiu decat sa denigreze ( unii din ei fiind de fapt chiar colegi de scena ) . ...he sang the high note (bracia) totally "open". And this is very very very bad for the voice, - as you can hear.
