I'm a huge fan of Elvis Costello and Ben Folds, and I don't see lyrical similarity. Elvis Costello is practically a rapper, the dude's got flow. Plus Costello uses so much allusion and metaphor whereas Fold's is pretty direct with his messages. So there!
