At the very begining Dick griped about Medicare being a forced option and it should be something that is given as an option (which I agree with, but its not practical) . Then @ 01:12 Dick then states that forcing a program onto individuals without their say in the matter is "Tyranny". So, he does consider Medicare Tyranny, and social security meets his 'Tyranny' definition too. Sorry, if you are unable to keep up.

Dick Armey is a movement conservative and the main goal of movement conservatives dating back to Barry Goldwater, if not sooner, is to tear down FDR's New Deal and all the successful safety net programs underneath it. Of course he's against universal healthcare and even Medicare (I note he failed to mention that one has the right to purchase private supplemental insurance to complement Medicare).
