  • wow just an awesome city thx for posting the video !!!!! ;)

  • I might get to go to this city I know 2 people who live here!! Im from Canada btw

  • this is a subtropical beauty, i dont like sydney because its just like any big city, and it's col like here in canada, but a two day drive and you can be in this subtropical beauty! i dont get why people want to live in the temperate climates when they can live in north in the warm tropical, sub-tropical, and even equatorial climates! something different!

  • there's a beach in the heart of the city :) what more could you want? and sure there are are going to be racist people all around the world in every country, but i've lived here all my life and have not come across someone who is racist. my school contains people of nearly every ethnicity and we celebrate our multiculturalism

  • Fellow Brisbanite reporting in, born and bred here and love my city. We are generally more laid back than other cities and in my opinion, more down to earth and friendly. For anyone wishing to travel to Brisbane, do not fear, we aren't still under water!!! Although the floods were a horrible time in our history, we have rebuilt quickly and there is very few remenants remaining from such a large disaster that occurred early this year.

  • As a Brisbanite, I love my city! I have been to Perth, Cairns, Sydney and Melbourne and Brisbane kicks ass. It is cleaner, more organised, picturesque and above all, enjoys amazing weather year round. Why would you live anywhere else?

  • @greatwhitefish1 Because melbourne is the best (Currently live in Perth) hometown is brisbane

  • @Cakerolled - I bet you can walk clear across town without sweating these days.

  • Well it's ok

  • I was born in Brisbane and raised in Brisbane for 8 years. currently been living in Ireland for 10/11 years now, I'm making plans on moving back home to the place I belong, in a tropical region. go on the Brisbaners ¦D

  • I can't believe it's only two months untill I'm actually moving to Australia and Brisbane!!!! I've never been to Australia before, but I just know that I will love it :)

  • @77Tonyz why? i love Brisbane, nothing wrong with it, if it was no-one would live here

  • Sun shines 300 days a year in Brisbane

  • IT'S SAD TO SEE THAT WHEN YOU TYPE IN BRISBANE - YOU GET STUFF ABOUT THE FLOODS :(

  • Check out Brisbane Australia for a more up to date vid on my channel.

  • Great video. I plan on visiting here one of these days with my family.

  • Screw the weather... sweating is better than freezing ;). It's said that everyone has their place on earth. I have never been in Australia, but I know that I want to spend there rest of my life. Greetings to all Australians :).

  • Im missing this place so much. I want to go back to see my friends there

  • I live here. I am so lucky! the people here are so nice, so welcoming. For example, with the floods , strangers were helping out strangers.the sport here is AMAZING, the schools are fantastic. My school is a state school and we get the some of the best results in the state. whats not to love about Australia.

  • @harj2009 HELLZ YEA BABY

  • Name one city in the world devestated by floods and just about every one helps total strangers clean out thier houses. BRISBANE THE WORLDS BEST PLACE TO LIVE. thats why 1000 move here every week.

  • I like it how Brisbane is not so loud or not so quiet. The weather is very nice and everywhere I go is clean. People here are very nice to me and they are so friendly. I have been living in Brisbane for over 6 years and those years were the best years of my life so far. Sucks that I have to go back to Korea soon...but I will never forget Brisbane and the memories will always be in my heart.

  • @77Tonyz I dont see why brisbane is the worst city when it is listed as one of the most liveable cities in the world.

  • @77Tonyz its actually a pretty good city, the amount of diferent things happening all the time and its changing quickly. but i see what you mean its not as cultural as Melbourne or Sydney which is a shame cause it would be a much better place. I suppose there is an increasing number of europeans and middle easterns moving to the city each year.

  • @77Tonyz....

Don't come back.. Go back to Oxford St Sydney douche bag...

  • Comment removed

  • Australia's worst city.

  • @77Tonyz

    I think I agree

  • @77Tonyz - mate, ever been to Newcastle?

  • i am moving here for 2 years in April i hope i will love it!

  • I've been living in Brissy for 7 years now, i don't ever want to move away from Brisbane it's so relaxing at southbank looking across at the city.

  • I will be spending seven weeks here!

  • Brisbane is the best city ever....when moving house you need

OnTheMove Removals dot com dot au

  • ok all those people who are saying Australians are racist just stop ok!! Im a black person living in Australia for 1 year now and I have never come across an Aussie who was racist to me or another person!!! I use to think Ausssies were all racist, but now I find that they are the most welcoming and beautiful people on earth!! I LOVE AUSTRALIA

  • After living all around I can honestly say that Brisbane has the cleanest air!!! Well compaired to other places. You don't even see the sky it's more of a yellow, orange tint and smogg here it's just blue.. I am sad about going overseas again I'm attached to this place.. and the air -_-

  • @menjiii01 still.. the sun is very strong

  • @ozzyguy67 Australia and Brisbane in particular are very well known for being multi-cultural. I wasn't born here and I have lived in the UK and I will be living in Bahrain again for a while and Aussies have the best rep every-where, we are well liked. I did see that james guys comment about wogs running the valley and I hope you understand that the comment is just ignorant and stupid. Anyways I'm not a wog but don't hate all plane people our diversity makes Australia one of a kind.

  • Comment removed

  • @JamesFesta01 Build this country? I highly dout it. We grew here you flew here.

  • I m live in brisbane I love brisbane

  • i love australia, i love brisbane =)

  • @ipoundpoon firstly, if you want me to take your comment seriously, write in proper english. aren't*, fuck* don't*

secondly, calm the hell down man. Read my comment again, and notice the key word... 'MANY,' not all. I'm not speaking for all Australians, just the many that are ashamed of THAT PARTICULAR part of our history.

  • liked the vid

  • Love this video - shows off the city very well - check us out for some other Brisbane based videos

  • Love this video - shows off the city very well.!!

  • I notice that Australian are most racist people on earth. They came here and killed almost Hundred of Thousand innocent Aboriginals for no reasons. Especially white people disturbed every system especially from England. They disturb the great countries like Fiji, India, Afghanistan, China and African Countries. They used people as slave and treat them as HELL. Even we wud treat our dogs better than what they did to community. This process is still going by Global Warming by usin more resours

  • @denishdens please do not assert that all Australians are racist. It is so very true that Australia has a shamefully racist history, but it makes me angry that because of that, many people label us ALL as racists. In every nation, you will find individuals that are most definitely discriminatory, so I believe that you should step back from applying a label to a country as a whole... especially when it's a label derived from a history many Australians weren't alive in, and are deeply ashamed of.

  • @JuliaJane27 shut up bitch , Im not ashamed of our history and nobody I know is either

  • Comment removed

  • @Caydn Take a chill pill and learn howto extract intended meaning from comments

  • @JuliaJane27 I know exactly what you meant , and Australians have nothing in their past to be ashamed of

  • @denishdens

That is history! Is it different to Americans killing Indians and taking African slaves? Shameful part of history just like all countries have but we all learn from history and have many proud moments in history! I am half Japanese half Australian, my sister is married to full blood aboriginal man and living in Brisbane...I never experienced racism in Australia and neither has my sister or her husband! In fact I am going back next month to stay with them for a week! Cant wait!

  • and also...if Australia is such a racist nation...why do you chose to live there? If its better in India why live in Australia? If you find Australian lifestyle better then why complain about the country that welcomed you? You know many other countries would have turned you away! I am not saying you are not welcome in Australia but its strange you chose to live somewhere and then after accepting their hospitality complain about them...but still stay!

  • @denishdens you're a fool of the highest degree.

here's an idea: if you don't like living in australia - get out!! you come to our country asking for our shelter, our protection, or lifestyle, our climate, our jobs, our opportunities, our outdoors, our infrastructure and our acceptance - and you sit there complaining about how crap it is to live in australia!

if you don't like it, fuck off back to the third world shithole you came from!!

  • ahh my home town. Will I move from here...hell no :)

  • Sunnybank is where most of the majority of the Chinese population reside, comprising mainly of people from Taiwan and Hong Kong. Brisbane has the highest population of Republic of China (Taiwanese) citizens in Australia. It has been estimated that the population has grown to an estimated 35 000+, making them the highest Asian population in Brisbane. Consequently, Sunnybank and its surrounding suburbs have often been dubbed as the 'Real Chinatown' and 'Taiwan Town'. frm wikipedia

  • @denishdens no other culture can clam anywhere in austraila its truly the aboriginals territory. from wat ive seen here the aboriginals get along with almost every1 but almost every1 runs them down.

    its pretty sad.

about 6-7 years ago there was heaps of samoan and nz people in sunnybank but i guess its changed now.

  • @NWAGF Well I do understand what u mean. Aboriginals are the only unique culture of Australia. I replied to those bunch of idiots who claim that they own Australia. It does not matter if u born in Australia but you should appreciate and understand the multicultural value. we have to welcome and accept the different ppl with their culture rather than abuse by racial or ethnicity. It will help us to develop strong Nation like United State.

  • @denishdens multiculturlaism = affirming all cultures except your own. it is failing in every country thats been silly enough to follow this idea. a tempory solution to some labour shortages isnt worth throwing away, or diminishing the anglo-australian culture that made australia so strong for such a new country.

  • @NWAGF We Should not be here for the first place. This is great country which accept all culture but if you go inside of any system or work place you find completely different world. They all accept all the immigrant as workers but on the shitty jobs like cleaning toilets and so on. These pupils don't tell you straight that we are not accepting you but indirectly they do it. For no reasons they hate each others in footy match or in other situation. Anyway this county is going to no where.

  • @NWAGF I m not agree with you. I m living at sunnybank mains road. I found no aboriginals in this suburb. They only live in country side why because community hate them. Government give them money and make them handicapped. They all are depend on money from government therefor they all follow Government orders. They became addictive of drugs and no more loyal to their culture. Anyway i'd just let you know "Aboriginals are same as we are" our system should take care of them not by just money

  • I live in Brisbane, i reckon it's fine.

  • We gotta stop showing every one how good Brisbane is with 1700 moving here eacg week, its gettin a bit crowded.

  • I Can't wait to Go ! Awesome Video ! Loved It !!!

  • WTF Brisbane is the best, I've been around the world and many places in Australia and there isn't a city as nearly as good as Brisbane! There are racist people every where, I'm not saying it's right to be racist, but it's going to happen no matter where you live!!!

  • Comment removed

  • why?

  • The weather is so hot you feel like killing yourself :)

  • Ah Brisbane, breath in the pollution!

  • nah i dont like brisbane .. not coz my ex lives there lmao.. its very vast huge. not a good transportation service.. tooo comercoalise.. and peoples doesnt know where they are living ? Not that i dont hate brisbane its just not my type. i Guess? Melbourne Rocks :) the breathe taking city ;)

  • Brisbane is FUCKED.. I'm getting out of here, keep it.

  • brisbane police bashed 2 innocent african australians in the valley, this occured during daylight in front of many people. the qld, brisbane police are the lowest of all police on this planet, absolute racist, ignorant basturds. i hope brisbane sinks... i feel so sorry for those 2 african australians that got bashed and hand cuffed for no reason.

  • Brisbane isn'the most racist city in the world! There are places in the world with far worse racial discrimination than Brisbane! The police force are fine, they are far away from being the lowest in the world! The police force in Brisbane is nothing compared to some of the brutal forces you get in Eastern Europe. What the hell are you saying,There are many people of different races in the city council! Many African Americans, Asians etc etc. Travel the world a bit before you mouth off Brisbane.

  • What an absolute craphole of a place, the most racist city in the world, they just comment on how good the weather is.. brisbane, qld has the worst public health care system in australia, the worst public education system in oz and the worst public transport system in australia and the most expensive housing in the country. Its an absolute shithole full of rednecks and bogans, yobbos', skippys..

  • @totz321 Sydney has the most expensive housing in Aus Champion, Might wanna look this shit up before you go posting it.

  • Where is "Aus Champion"? Is that a small island state in Micronesia? I've looked on Google Maps to no avail..

  • @putridsneakers Don't think you read it quite right chief.. : /

  • whats a skippy? cos im not a redneck, or a bogan? or a yobbo, but by using those words u sound like a redneck(aussie redneck) i haven't said bogan in years, and (racist) and that's the south side nigga's u taking bout bro:p haha i impersonate bad English well?

  • Australia has beautiful towns including Brisbane. One of the best holidays in my life.

  • I have been living in Brisbane for 1year and half.

  • how is it?

  • Brisbane is a small city yet so I don't find it's exciting but I am enjoying reaxed life here. The weather is very good, especially in the winter but the summer is very hot.

  • @SmilingKorean Did u like it?

  • Every place will be same.. When you go to new place, everything is new and amazing but you may get bored in 3months. Brisbane is even small city so I am sure you will get bored quickly if you stay here, but Brisbane is good city to live or study because it's quiet except the crowded shoping mall and social facitlities are pretty good.

  • I'm currently staying in Brisbane for three weeks. Though I live near Melbourne. =)

  • true what she said in the end. i fell in love with brisbane. miss it badly

  • @princessjasmine12060 same. ditto to that. brissy was one of (or The) greatest cities I ever experienced.

  • Please explain how its not a good place...? and how US citys are that much better.....

  • Absolutely, its a racist city full of rednecks and bogans, the society there is so rude, so ignorant and narrow minded, very reserved, very conservative, absolutely hate it.

  • @totz321 How about you don't generalise, i have lived my whole life in brisbane, am not racist nor is anyone else i know, neither are we ignorant or narrow minded. So think before you talk, and remember that your gonna find racist people everywhere.

  • who says it has to be like america?

  • Brisbane is crazy. We have a club precsinct called Fortitude Valley. The Family nighclub and Cloudlands there have been voted Australia's best clubs. The whole suburb is pretty much pubs and clubs galore!!!

  • Brisbane's a pretty cool laidback place..the climate is great here, it doesn't get very cold here and it's sunny pretty much all the time. There is a pretty good night life and some good places to hang out. But I wouldn't call it a "big city" though..lol

  • I have been living here now for 2 years. Never want to move to anywhere else now.

  • To "schiappone1".....are you saying all Australians are racist? Think again...why box everyone in your small world. The racist I met is ---that person in the mirror-- I know when it pops out so it couldn't strike anyone. You must be one of those you met along the way cause it is what you notice the most. You overlooked those who embraced your presence and very glad to have you around. Pity!perhaps read Viktor Frankl's Book--Man's Search For Meaning"--this might help open your eyes a bit more.
