whatever looks and fits right! get that jacket big so you dont get tons of snow in ya midriff. I'm personally bias'd towards sessions stuff : ) good pair of socks.. some thermal pants.. nice big t-shirt that won't untuck from your pants on pow days if you get them
Check out the Flow Verve. It's a fun soft board thats easy to flex : ) You don't want anything really stiff to start off on because its harder to make it do what you want it to do. The Era is also real fun and is a reverse camber board. It's really good on soft days and in powder, but its kinda loose riding on ice. Just make sure you get the right sized board
everyone always tries to say "chin to nose" but that always ends up being too big. looking straight out with my head, my slopestyle/big jump/pow board is right around my chin, and my jib/messing around board is just under it by an inch or 2. I would say that you need to look for something just under your chin is the way to go. A little smaller board is more fun to ride and easier to whip around. Lago is pretty tall and he rides a 158 most of the time. I'm like 5'8" and I use a 153 and a 155
ok, didn`t know that. i live in Europe, so I`m pretty much stuck to the highlight videos. But as long as you didn`t get injured... season is still long! :)
yo bro im just gettin into snowboarding and was wanting to know some good gear and clothes to get.

I'll try and find a vid from the qualifiers. I slammed really hard in Big Air the night before slopestyle finals so I rode like trash : /
