  • Now i understand why they call it HAIR...

  • Homer is a dope.

  • Does anybody know the version of Hair filmed on location at the pyramids of Mexico? Where can I find it? If you don't know it... i highly recommend it... it is OVER THE TOP !!!

  • @neorquino hahaha sweet - made me laugh man :-)

  • A very bad rendition of a good Oliver hit

  • @Ryder2k

Oliver had covered this song from the Broadway musical "Hair", then the same songs appeared in the movie "Hair"

  • that's not the family truckster

  • It is just joyful... cept the whole gettin on th plane part.... oh and all you religious freaks can go f **** yourselves, this movie wasnt about that!!

  • it is just joyful... cept the whole gettin on th plane part....

  • Ijwi is right, read what he says and think about it. And i hope everyone keeps smiling, its infectious and it takes less energy than to frown!

  • @cuardaigh Not if you're fundamentally miserable it doesn't ! To learn to smile properly again when you've been sunk in utter depression is an act of heroism and an heroic feat. I like your sentiment though !

  • @zarakhast an art and an act of heroism. Facepalm.

  • I wish nonbelievers wouldn't use hateful & angry people like ighwhatever to trash religion, especially in a video about hippies. It's known that most rationalists detest the hippie movement and all it stands for. That's why there's no counterculture -- no spirituality: the technocrats have decided society works better as a machine fueled by the careful cultivation of individuaism. But yeah, it's too bad that fundamentalists are trying to take over religion and trash anyone on fringes of society.

  • @ijwi ok now explain all that. And show the proof that proved to you this is true so I can examine it and reply.

Psalm 34:8 "O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him. "

Jesus is Lord of all. Amen

  • do do DO DO-

  • This is my morning alarm song on my mobile phone! :D

Because of it, every morning is a cheerful one :D:D:D:D

  • Who's driving that car? :D

  • i remember this from the alien/x files episode of the simpsons!

  • Beverly D'Angelo sure was hot in this movie.

  • Why are we discussing religion? I'm Jewish but I just say "Love".

I love this song and show. Movie, eh.

  • @ghostlover18 I agree..................

  • What I don't get is why all these super religious people comment biblical things on videos like this, yet, they must have clicked the video willingly. If you click to watch a video just so you can bash everyone or the video, you really need to get a life.

Anyway, this song is absolute perfection. ♥

  • @prboy0812 It's called "free speech" and if you log onto most Christian videos you will see a LOT of atheists who post their "free speech" as well.

  • What's with all the religious nutbags on this thread spewing their idiotic, hateful, and out-dated "religious" beliefs?

  • It's the chick from the Vacation Movies,, She was on Cougar Town Last week!

  • @pjecklin Yeah, she's also the mother Al Pacino's kids in real life. Who'd a thunk it? Al nailed Mrs. Clark Griswold. You can't make this stuff up. This version makes you appreciate Oliver's pipes.

  • @JoeyFudd Wow, serious! That's crackers! Yeah, so True!! : )

  • Simpsons!

  • Wow, 35 people missed the like button :P. Good morning from Sweden

  • @johnvena56 dude she definitly wants you

  • I had no idea what this was? So some girl texts me "Good Morning Starshine" to wake me up, you guys think she wants me?

  • Straw2daberry - Only meaning was that they were sharing peace, love and joy together. Reminds me of the good old days when all you needed was $5 for gas, a few joints, and some friends to ride around with just being happy. Or so says this old white straight woman - but the beauty of it is that it can mean whatever you want it to mean man! ;-)

  • @DairyKills Thank you

  • I love this song, but unfortunately, I'm not quite sure of the meaning (if there is one) would someone care to explain to a black gay young man?

  • Is that Meg Foster singing?

  • @Rumpio

    No, she´s Beverly D'Angelo

  • seriously. how the f%(& he drives with the hair on his face?

  • Good Morning Gorgeous....:)

  • who the f*** plays bass here?????? insane....

  • This song makes me piss and shit freely.

  • this is a very god ....

  • This is the best part of waking up!

  • Very great movie and songs it`s an evergreen really, sorry for the last notes are missing

  • Good feeling tune.

  • Who knew the words????

  • @ighforever actually, it shows the prospect of peace. Yes, it has drugs and nudity in some parts, but do you notice how many of the songs mention God? Quite a few, and not to mention that most of this focusses on how a bunch of hippies lobbied together to stop the Vietnam "Police Action".

  • @thewolfy7 They talked about how our troops were baby killers and the like, but did they really do the Research into vietnam?

I need to brush up myself, but if i remember right the French basically were exploiting that area before and after WW2, and the north vietnamese sided with russia for help. And then we go in. Hippies protesting and lobbing did nothing to defuse the complex situation in Vietnam Cambodia and Laos.

It was a world war focused in this area.

    Hippies were not Christians

  • @ighforever Hey, shut up! This movie and play are awesome!!

  • @ighforever what? a how absurd " hippies were't Christians," it was about peace brother "imagine there's no heaven it's easy if you you try" silly thing to say

  • @BlackWing96 Christians are Christ's Servants and his Disciples. They do not rebel against authority unjustly. But this movie does. It promotes foolishness and worldliness and Rebellion against parents and those in authority. It leads many down paths of destruction, totally mocking our military as well.

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Read Ephesians 6:1-4, Romans chapter 13, Deuteronomy 11:27-28, Acts 5:28-32

Jesus is Lord of all. Amen

  • @ighforever if people dont believe in christ they dont get to go to heaven (so the bible sas) so he is enslaving you cuz u dont want to go to hell and if u dont worship him hes going to send u there.....ha ha slave

  • @BlackWing96 its true you fear God because he holds everything in his hands. He owns it all and decides on everything. God cannot change who or what he is anymore than you can change who or what you are. Think about that.

God demands payment for sin, its the way he is. But God also Loves us and sent Jesus to this fallen world of his to show us who he is. In Jesus we see the Father. When we understand we say: God is Love, Goodness and Mercy and I want that in my life too. And we Love him.

  • @ighforever love luvs every1.......besides muslims and homosexuals

  • @BlackWing96 I'd rather be a slave to Christ than a slave to this world.

  • @51362879 but christ put u here didnt he??? so wats wrong with this world?

  • @51362879 Too late.

  • @jumpinjax2 too late, what?

  • @ighforever Jesus wasn't fond of the military either, all this love your fellow man stuff mean nothing to you? (Deuteronomy 6:5). Also he rebelled against the establishment of his day by trashing a temple that had gone down the wrong road (Mark 11:15-19). Also i have to say i am not a christian or subscribe to any organised religion but seem to see a message of love and hope that you clearly do not in the teachings of Jesus. Plz don't be hateful or holier than thou please and thanks.

  • @ithotofthisfirst Consider however that Jesus spoke about slavery in allegorical form. Was Jesus critical of slavery? NOPE. He had an almost matter-of-fact attitude toward it. Read his parables, if you're so inclined. By the way, how did this

YouTube board turn into a religious discussion?

  • @ighforever what was that thing about the mote in your own eye? you seem to enjoy going on videos and judging people whom you deem "rebellious" and unworthy. Maybe you should go and meet some of them and get to know people who are different from you or even have beliefs that are distasteful. Self-righteousness never convinced anyone of anything. As for "rebellion" being evil, were you against the American revolution? What about the revolt against Rome? Christ opposed that on PACIFIST grounds.

  • @ijwi I can Judge.

Psalm 34:8 "O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him. "

Jesus is Lord of all. Amen

  • @BlackWing96 There are plenty of religious hippies. Although a lot of them dislike organized religion so you won't find them arguing shit with atheists back and forth on Youtube. Some of them used to be called Jesus freaks. Plenty of "early-church" Christians and Mennonites are hippies.

  • @ighforever You don't have to be Christian to believe in god... Or even agree with the 'Christian' Point of views. God gave us all free will. Stop trying too cram shit down our throats, When GOD GAVE US THE RIGHT TO THINK FOR OUR-SELFS!

  • @brian555666 God has proven himself, who he is in Christ Jesus.

How can you prove what you say in your post? Show me what evidence you found while investigating that proved your statements to yourself. Then I will reply after checking out your evidence. thanks.

e-sword . com has a Free Bible download, read the Bible find out how I proved to myself that God is good and loving.

Jesus is Lord of all. Amen.

  • @ighforever

Why the hell are you talking about religion on this song in particular? It's about the morning and then a bunch of gibberish.

And if you just clicked this to complain, you've really got issues.

  • @brian555666 Well, the bible from what I heard 'Christians' Preaching. Is that god GAVE us free will, and we supposedly took advantage of it. Well, He shouldn't of gave it too us in the first place then... He knew the outcome. Cause he is the all 'powerful' god right? This 'Bible' that people seem to follow, Which is man made.. Has everyone all confused. No one knows even what came out of your 'Lords' mouth... You don't know anything either. You shouldn't believe everything, That a 'man' wrote.

  • YES.

  • A film leges-legjobb száma az örök favorit imádom :)

  • Uggghhh. The late 60's-early 70's seem like such a sweet time to be alive. This generation sucks :-/ I realize this is just a movie but still. From what I've heard from my parents and grandparents, that era was amazing.

-Out of the mouth of a 22 year old.

  • The grass always seems greener. We were in Viet Nam. It wasn't that sweet.

  • You know what I meant. We're in the midst of a war right now.

  • The same thing out of a 17 year old, I completely agree.

  • I do miss those days. Pretty much because I was a young child at this time and life was carefree.

  • Of course different people experienced it differently FM897, also when you live in a set piece of time, you don't see it so special. Still I understand what you're saying, and partially agree with you. Looking back into that time, it was for me and many in my generation a more carefree, simpler and less regimented era as customary nowadays. There was many more entry level jobs for young people for example, to the point that it alleviated worrying about it.

  • early morning singin song :)) love this song - so warm and carefree :))

  • I liked when Mr. Burns sang this song on The Simpsons! ^_^

  • i agree!

  • That's how I know this song and why I looked for it here!
