I honestly can't believe there aren't more stroker c4s on youtube. It is really the most economical way to get true racing performance. I'm pretty much wanting to build a c4 in a similar manner. I hope mine turns out this well.
BTW, would you mind sharing your budget for this build. I'm thinking with some patience and 15 grand I could come close in a few years. Because corvettes use more performance oriented parts, I'd think less would need to be replaced.
Man I've owned 3 of these and your dash looks beautiful (one of my favorite things about these cars). It isn't washed out or dull at all, and then you go and shut off the tach and put a stupid analog tach in, I just pray you have a quick disconnect on it and only use it when racing. That's like taking a Victoria's Secret model and putting super big fake boobs on her.
just wondering if you could help me out a bit?, have you dynoed the car, and if so how much torque to the rear wheels and didm u have to change out the rear end ? thanks ,, sweet car!
I had one with very similiar mods to yours, loved it, fun car, only problem I ever had with it was , it ate clutches , expensive ones , quickly, but good god it was fun, great mileage great top speed, great quarter miles, it would do it all!
I have a question though, would you mind explaining which wires you connected your aftermarket Tach to? I have an '86 and am trying to install a Sunpro tach much like yours but I cant find the correct wires to wire it to! The ones I really need are the wire to the dimmer switch on the dash (to illuminate the Sunpro Tach) and the actual Tach wire to get the Tach reading. Thanks in advance!
The tach wire runs off of the distributor. Same location as factory. Run the wire for the light to any powed line that is switched with the ignition. Pretty straight forward install.
sounds bad ass. check out my vette video

That's not an 85, the rear bumper/front bumper styles are wrong.
Ownage31337 2 years ago
It is an 85. It has the 91-96 bumber upgrades.
Look at the dash. It is the early C4 digi dash.
