I think that The Sims is the only game that there are no limits for humans imagination literally. Its the best tool for Architects and not only to expand their imagination to a high level and to experiment with. Excelent job!

There will ALWAYS be something new to add to video games. Just not something that you can see now.

Sims 1 & 2, in the house. Sims 3, in the town. Sims 4, larger town. 5, city. 6, city with countryside. 7, multiple cities. That isn't exactly realistic, but it's to show how it could go.

The Sims 3 has a country side town that you can download off the site after buying the game. I belive it's called Riverview (but don't quote me on that).
