Vehicle needs the weight of that 6.1 pushin down on the front Dana 30 to give it that neck breaking launch that beats GTs, SSs, (other) SRTs, SVTs, etc. off the line and most of the time passed the 1/8.

i dont know most awd systems are set up all time with a rear wheel bias, the fact that the cherokee awd is rwd from a point and capable of transfering 100% of the power to either front or rear means a device could enable it to alter the computer and keep ot rwd, id imagine it would depend on the vehicle and how the awd on it works

it doesn't do tranny damage, but it can do damage to the transfer case because it's left wide open so you can get a bunch of shit stuck in it if you're not careful

It is all wheel drive. I have one. But He was able to do a burnout cause he held the brake and floored it. But it didnt last for long cause there is still a little more displacement in the rear tires. If you just slam the gas, no brakes. It may spin for less then .3 seconds but then it will grab and go. But still possible to do a burn out when brake is in play.

SRT-8s are all wheel drive but they are tuned so that 90% of the acceleration is in the rear so they can race, if they lose traction the front wheel drives get more power for a while then full power is returned to the rear wheels.
