I personally disagree with her behvior and think she could have handled the situation far better, but hey, we're all human.

The reporter in my mind was also in the wrong in that she seemingly did not notice the cues being given by Bjork's body language and facial expression. To me, the bodily and facial expressions present were saying loud and clear, "perhaps another time but not right now".
