speaking in tongues is not evidence, it's a myth. all you need to do is merely check out wikipedia. if they truly spoke in "tongues" someone should be able to understand them. Linguistic studies have been done, and so far nobody actually managed to speak in a foreign language.
But how would you tell apart 2 people: one speaking in tongues, and one who believed he was speaking in tongues, but actually wasn't?

Zipster, this is a classic joke from an era of humor many kids today will never understand. I sincerely hope you continue doing your thing and enjoying every minute of it.
