we will never again see the likes of angel cordero . he was a rider that had the absolute will to win at any cost and the determination and passion for the game . i still miss his riding to this day . if you watch the riders of today when they look behind under their arm at the top of the stretch they get caught , but with cordero whenever he looked back he never got caught , please don't forget hid fearlessness their wa no hole or rail that he would shy from

I'll never forget how he stole the Derby in 1974 on Cannonade! And I'd like to be as well-liked as he is, too.

Angel is the greatest of all time, the Mahamid Ali of racing, I rode with him for 15 years and Angel has been my biggest fan with the Equicizer !
