I believe the central banks plan was to outsource to China and India and other 3rd world countries to build there economies and have them trade in USD.
Ofcourse the downside was the decline in US and Western European manufacturing and production. I believe this may have been short sided on their part, not seeing the decline in the US and USD and the possibility of a new world reserve currency.
Perhaps, they want this or perhaps their greed has caused them dearly?
