  • hey are those pool noodles cut down the midde?

  • Dude thats awesome! I love the tail fan blpping through the water. Hope the tail motor was OK on that one. You have an HH gyro installed?

  • Thats not a belt cp

  • he never said it was :)

  • i dont think ide have the balls or the cash to risk doin that over water lol nice work

  • Is that a modified Blade CP or will the stock version with the 800mAh fly with floats? Just bought one today and your video has me even more excited! Thanks for any info you might have to pass along ... great video!

  • This will work fine with a stock Blade CP...

  • Very nice setup, pilot and place, a great vid. 5 Stars !!!

  • just out of stupidity. is it waterproof?

  • Yeah, pretty cool. Like a lot of other Blade pilots who see this video, I want to make a set of floats for mine.

  • Go to Runryder - I posted all info, including a quick cross-section here:

    Happy Flying!

  • Topic number is t362500p1 on RunRyder

  • Thanks for filling us in!

  • nice

  • Yes, that looks pretty cool. I want to see it moving forward on the water with a little forward cyclic! I too am curious about how the floats are made. I have a Blade CP Pro that is starting to nag me about flying from the fresh-water lake in the Berkelely hills!

  • hells na! thats awsume! wat was used as floats?

  • It looks like he's cut some of those long foam water toys down to size and put a groove in them for the skids

  • nice floats lol

  • Tutelar, you are a brave man my friend.

  • Thanks.

Brave was flying over the water without floats!

Stupid was losing control over the water - and having it sink in 20' of water =)

Smart was making floats so I don't lose it again...

  • lol. even smarter would have been to waterproof the electronics tobegin with.

  • Check out the topic at Runryder on Blade CPP with Floats, dated 8-14-07.

  • dude can u pm me some specs on those floats since i go to the river like eevery weekend

  • why do you say that?? The guy obviously knows what he's doing.

Thats pretty damn awesome what you got there man

  • If you end up with the helicopter the wrong way up in the water, unplug the battery as soon as you recover the model. Make sure the electronics dry out completely before plugging in the battery again.

I had a brushless model under water for 1 week. Dried it out - everything worked. Still does.
