They say that they want to put up this missile shield to protect from Iran, this is hard for me to believe, considering the true state of Iran's nukes program. Pakistan however has many nukes and is right next to Iran. Russian and Pakistan have a bumpy history. Medvedev goes on to say that no nations in the middle east should have nukes, without exception. I think he could be referring to Pakistan in this statement. Israel also has nukes though, and is in the middle east.
