I think everyone has the wrong idea about komodo dragons I think they are real peacefull creatures but the only footage of them is all negitave but of cource they will retaliate if u fuck with them and they will kill u just like most wild animals but i think they are great animals but kool videos

They are pretty cool animals, but they have been known to ambush people on Komodo.

To their credit they don't seem to like Mark O'Shea too much. He ended up in a tree with two big dragons at the bottom.

Actually, it's recently been determined that komodos do indeed produce poison, and that is what is fatal. The bacteria only serves to cause a more grotesque display of suffering until the inevitable. ^_^

@GSmiami, Yes, finaly, someone who understands that there is quite some difference between poison and venom. Many people out there believe that the bacteria, in their mouth is what kills the animal, but that is not 100% true. Though the bacteria may cause an infection, the bite victim should die from the venom long before then.
