I have read that this is Turk Murphy sing and that he also did the arrangement. It seems that he was a good friend of Bud Luckey. Until today I didn't know Turk was involved with Sesame Street. :)

I might be mistaking, but I think it was Bud Lucky who did the animation and singing in this. Bud Lucky now works for Pixar and he was one of the character designers for Woody in Toy Story and he also wrote, directed, and did the voices in Boundin' The short film attached to The Incredibles and he also did the voice of Rick Dicker in The Incredibles.

I have loved Sesame Street my whole life, beginning when I was barely able to walk and watched the very first episode. I learned to read at the age of three from Jim Henson. Love it. I still watch it with my six children! Oh I remember wanting to eat those rubies!!!
