  • do you design these t-lines yourself?

  • i think theyre really cool. they seem like they sound decent. i would put a nice finish and some kind of quick grills and sport em. i have something SIMILAR im doing for a rec room/shop and i came across some jvc giga tube house speakers. although i probably wont use mids or tweeters i think i may throw in the giga tube side "woofers" which are i think 6.5". lol. but theyre actually kinda healthy looking. may not take much power on the coils but they look solid for a little to no budget build.

  • try buying a new bit thats the reason its smoking i use them all the time

  • Shit, you do a fucking nice job... I just built a box for 4 12 inch subs and it doesn't even compare to your boxes... You musta been doing this for YEARS.... lol

  • Engine management light is on bro :( aha

  • please send me a message with all these cuts in inches plz cuz im in america and i just have trouble with that stuff, also will a TS-W2502D2/D4

  • dude they sound amazing even on the camera

  • lol.. i got the same technics amp like you.. ;) i love it

  • what kind of glue did you use?

  • How many watts are the individual drivers?

they look pretty cheap.. then again looks can be deceiving.

  • What software did you use to model your speakers in the first minute of this video?

  • good work dude but i cant stand u talking jesus fucck

  • Lol 4:46

  • FUCK they sound sweet as man. good job!

  • what filters are in these?

  • wouldnt have wasted any money on these awful drivers =/ even though they might sound nice to you - try building your own frequency switch (or use an active frequency switch) and use some Dome Type Tweeters & Cast Aluminium Broadband Drivers - and youll see the difference ;) and what youve missed there is to calculate the own resonance frequency of each driver - and if you dont have TSP's dont waste money on it. (word from one who builds speakers proffessionally)

  • @tunecee i did not buy these drivers they are re-used from speakers i already had, what i was trying to prove is that you dont have to spend your life savings to get good sound if you know how to build a good box. They will probably be replaced in the future with dome tweeters and the like. I had a good idea of the t/s of each driver enough to work with. what sorta stuff do you build?

  • I hate B&Q they suck ass

  • Man that sounds awesome! Your camera did a fine job of picking up the fullness of the speakers. I have some nice headphones on, so that probably helped. Good job man! Looks really good.

  • I didn't see any crossovers... ? Are you using active xovers?

  • Your fucking class barevids!

  • what is the design program you use for box building ?

  • dimplin rotels!!!

  • Sounds freakin clean.

  • just saw a t-line video on Vxincars channel, thats what you need! look like you took a few tips from there too?

  • but this isnt as T-line design, a T-line port stays consistant all thorugh out the enclosure, yours is more like a tapped horn but its not even that so im not sure what to call these.. and also why so many boxes? if you build a T-line tunned to 40Hz it will play all the way to about 3k! in other words full range output which is their purpose. also you breath in 10 seconds worth of that mdf smoke its the same as eating a handfull of mdf dust..

  • Quality craftsmanship there barevids, I look forward to seeing the full surround system completed. What AV amp are you using? Migh want to use mono blocks on your T-line speakers for extra umpf & kick.

    Joe.

  • Tiesto 4 Life...nice speeks, good job..put them in line where you sit, not on the floor..

  • -_- second time writing

when i was sleeping i remembered that i once used a tweeter -with an open back- with a 6" woofer in a vented box ,the tweeter farted at low bass and it lost a lot of high notes,it was crossed over but the air from the woofer kept distorting it.going to replace them with cheap dome tweeters.

  • Hello , while i was sleeping i remembered that i once installed a tweeter in a vented box with a 6" woofer ,the tweeter wasn't sealed and it farted at low bass it also lost the high notes .

  • god damn dude o_O amazing work on this stuff!! they sound amazing, just the two of them!! =D

  • what speakers are these? and what type of crossovers do you use?

  • @si1entscorn oops commented before i finished watching the video

  • Man they sound good.

  • Great video!

  • Oh and check out my newest video on my rwl2011 channel (for now) which is the new ford focus' advert with Ferrari engine sounds as well as dubstep, dnb + funny speech + fx! Made it for college work believe it or not lol...

  • Nice gauges in the proton but what are they for lol? Sounds surprisingly good indeed! What's the plan with the car noise now the pioneer you didn't blow up will be at home :P

  • wow they sound amazing! cant wait til your finished with the build!

  • would be interesting to listen to these

  • partsexpress sells some low pass filters you could get a pair of 80-100herts low pass for about 20$ for the pair

  • @omfgg3tlost sorry high pass

  • Cool! Did somebody design your t-lines or did you do it yourself? If so where did you find the info?

  • That SQL is awesome! It was just those speakers hooked up for the music, correct? I though I saw the other speakers free airing but it could have just been camera shake lol,

also at ~ 5:00 .. do you live next to a school or something haha?

  • @cjdog23 thanks! Yeah only these hooked up i can assure you. And yes I live right next door to my old primary school haha.

  • sounds really warm and rich. good job man.

  • those sound amazing what program did you use to design the boxes.

  • sounds great!

  • nice man excellent work

  • top job, love it!

    part 2, come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @barevids sound fricking fantastic!!!! thats amazing from wat im hearing

  • Where did you learn to design a transmission line enclosure? if you cant tell me for some reason maby after the builds can you make a video showing off the basics and stuff I would like to build some transmission line enclosures for my 4 8s but i have no clue how to

  • why didnt you counter sink man :(

  • awesome sound even through camera. dunno whether to make some mids and highs myself

  • KICK ASS JOB BRO LOVE IT

  • Waiting on more. Great stuff.

  • LMAO the speakers are like this emoticon > :O

  • Making holes with a circle cutter in mdf is really hard. You should first cut a 1mm deep circle and after that you should make loads of small holes which will sort of drain the dust. After making those holes you can cut right through without getting smoke. I must say they sound great. Good job. I can't wait to see the boxes for the 8'' drivers

  • omg man! you are expert making speaker boxes! in the video the speakers sounds amazing but i think that in the real life those speakers sounds 3 times better :D!

keep going bro! greetings from Chile

  • Man u know that bigger drills mean slower speed???

    Small drill = Fullpower

Big drill = Litle power ..

thats why its smokes so mutch when u drills .. it goes to fast and it gonna burn your tools .

Try to easy upp your triggerfinger and u will maybe get a bether result .. :)

  • Nice work man, i can't wait to see the video when it's all done ;) .... but whats that song called at the last part of the video ? (that kind of test song for highs, meds en lows) ?

  • this is sooo cool! :D watched at fullscreen

  • The kids in the background were tripping me out...couldn't figure out where the voices were coming from.

  • those sounded awesome on my computer speakers

  • that was fast cant wait to hear the full set up, whats the song that was playing in your car

  • FUCK YEEEAAAAHHH!!! love your work man

  • Thats how Bear Grills makes fire. 6:45

  • How much did that lot cost, just out of interest?

  • nice computer

  • Sounds nice.

  • Looks great, sound even better! Thats awesome man, I'm really going to enjoy the series of vids with you putting this together - keep it up!

  • Wow they sound great! even over the camera mic! Get a router on the corners and give them a really cool glossy finish :)

  • alilte over kill with the drill lol

  • You need to get a Zoom Q3HD.

  • Wow that's sick. Any chance you can show how you wired them all up?

  • I using a circle cutter and i use it with around 550 turns per minute

  • Also well done look and sound wicked .. I wanna build some folded horn's could you help me get a cut specs up ?

  • great work on the t-line highs, When are you going to get your engine management light checked :)

  • Hay how do you cut the angles ? on the in side

  • AMAZING WORK !

am building an HT my self and i used the sketchup for designing and cutlist plus for the wood cutting you seem to have used a sketchup plug in if you mention it in the description i would appreciate it .

    good stuff !

  • @ABLACKX thanks! i havent used a plugin lol, i just drew rectangles 2440mm x 1220mm and drew on each pannel and moved it around for best fit. then colour coded each box. time consuming but worth it for 100% accurate results 1st time!

  • @barevids Ok then i must recommend you the program cutlist plus which is awesome for wood or other materials .

And i must tell you that you should put words like diy and ht in the tags so that more people could see this!

and one more thing ,the other circle cutting jig doesn't allow wood to come out that's why smoke come out,so use an in and out motion .can't wait to see them in action and in finish (piano black) ? :P

  • @barevids Fkin awesome work. Its just...the drivers look aesthetically shit

  • great :)

  • looks so good!
