hey man hate to say it but ktmsmurf is right on this one, the pair you have are not legit, based on the white background on the inside of the boxing let alone theres wrinkles on the outside as well. If your friend got them from monster he must have repackaged them himself or hes selling you a line of croc.

The white back in the box and the single "fold" tells its a fake.

@KTMsmurf Thank's for the Comment,But i know for a fact that after speaking to MonsterCable i assure you these earphone's i have are not FAKE as you so kindly put it,Nick got them directly from MonsterCable Directly,I then WON them and so far your not the only person to try and tell me that they are fake when their not.

@bcnlvr TBH in my limited experience $20 is not gonna get you a fantastic pair of head/Ear phone's,If your looking for an everyday set then may i recommend something from Sennheiser or Sony,If your looking for better sound rather than quality,Then the more you spend the better ? :)

@bcnlvr check out the JVC Marshmallow, they retail for around $20, good sound isolation, decent sound.

As a headphone reviewer i would say JVC gumy or marshmellow or go for the higher price ones I trust JVC's sound quality and durability a lot. once my DJ style headphones got hooked on a door knob and it plucked off when i walked away and still after the straining it worked perfectly fine.
