  • Harvest and Return on Earth of Christ are two separate events.

pre-, mid-, post- (one event) tribulation and partial rapture theories

    are not biblical.

  • Can I have a copy of the Video? I'm From the Philippines.

  • @WeepingStellaMaris No, I'm saying after they have already married. Abraham and Sarah had been getting it on all the way into their old years, when Sarah was for sure she couldn't get pregnant. Was that a sin? Also, should couples stop having sex after a woman has menopause? How many periods should a woman not have before it's a sin to have sex with her own husband?

  • The Roman Catholic Church has a horror of any communion or union with false religions, with heresies, and with errors which put a distance between souls and her God who is the one and only God. She knows only unity within her fold, as does her God. For that she gives the blood of her martyrs, the life of her missionaries, of her priests, the sacrifice of her religious and nuns, she offers the daily Sacrifice of Propitiation.

  • Rapture is a reference to "being caught up"

  • I am so confused he started off saying no rapture then ended with rapture????? Which is it help me!

  • @tony619rider

When he said there is no 'rapture', he actually meant there is no 'Pri-tribulation Rapture' - meaning the catching up of christians before the tribulation - a common notion of what rapture means for the Pri-trib believing christians. Then he ended with talking about a biblical rapture, which occurs after the tribulation. The 'catching up' at the end of the tribulation is the Post-trib rapture which happens during the 2nd coming of Christ, when He returns in glory. Hope that helps.

  • @tony619rider No SECRET Rapture. It wont be a secret and it's not Christian taken and unbeliever left. It's the unbeliever will die from the brightness of His coming and take His Church. I hope that helps :) Check out the Discover Prophecy seminar on my channel. All bible interpreting the bible lining up with history and the times we are living in :) ENJOY!

  • I feel this Pastor is incorrect about the ressurection There will be a resurrection for all our loved ones who never got to know Jesus either by way oif not being able to read or write etc, Jesus is not going to destroy those who never got to truly understand . His love or truth. This knowledge is in Revelation 20,2, 7, 10 tells us about Satan who will be bound and Jesus will reign on Earth for 1000 yrs. 2nd resurrection.

  • @lelacheurj rev 20 NEVER says jesus will rule on EARTH for the thousand years. Thats one of the big misinterpitations about the thousand years. After the first resurection when jesus comes he will take the saints up to heaven, thats why in 1st thess 4:16 it says we will be caught up with jesus in the clouds. Now why will we be caught up in the clouds if we're goin to stay here?!?! Doesnt make sence.

  • @lelacheurj

Batchelor doesn't preach this....at least I never heard him say any of the things you claim that he said and I certainly didn't get that from the video.

  • I know it has nothing to do with this clip but I'm just asking

When I die...and my girlfriend dies..and we go to heaven. Will she still be my girlfriend ? I know that married couples are no longer married but are they still sharing the same affection towards each other ?

  • @PdubzCrew I think it is going to be a Brother and sisterly love up in Heaven

  • @lvc15978

Thanks for the reply. but then like what if we don't want that type of affection and still want we had on earth but in heaven ? its real hard to understand.

  • @PdubzCrew

I don't see why not. Love, affection and sex...those things are not sinful w/in themselves. Everything will be done according to what God finds pure and holy and we will not shame and defile ourselves, like the way ppl do now. All I know that heaven will be better than our wildest dreams. I often wonder the same thing...like will I have some ability to have babies in heaven if I didn't before the second coming of Christ. I don't worry because I know my desires will be fulfilled.

  • @ladyEulaelie You seriously wonder that? In Heaven we will be like the angels. The marital act is only approved and acceptable if the end within marriage is to have many children and to raise them to be Saints. Otherwise, sex is a mortal sin.

  • @WeepingStellaMaris

Adam and Eve were having sex in the garden of Eden on the sixth day. Pregnancy did not become of it, so were they sinning in heaven?

Another question for you. If a man and woman come together knowing they are not biologically capable of conceiving a child...lets say she had uterine cancer and had to have her uterus removed and her husband had a sperm duct defect or antibodies attacked his sperm. Would the husband's sexual encounter w/ his own wife be a mortal sin?

  • @ladyEulaelie Adam and Eve did not come together until after they had sinned.

  • @ladyEulaelie Also, response to your question. The Church suggests people who know they cannot conceive simply do not marry. They should live a chaste life of virginity, which is pleasing in the sight of God.

  • @ladyEulaelie Hi! Please read Luke 20:27-36. There is no more sex in heaven for the saved will become like angels. Good luck and may God guide you.

  • @lyntq143

I appreciate you giving a verse. It's commonly known but I'm not confident that chapter is clear enough to confirm that sex will be destroyed after the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. But I will say this, passion, love, adoration...these are not of the flesh but the vehicle used to express those feelings are of the flesh and the things of the flesh will not reign with us in heaven. So maybe God will improve upon the sex to be of the flesh...?? idk It's all conjecture to me.

  • @lyntq143

I shouldn't say yea or nay, because at this time I really don't know. It's all speculation till someone can break things down for me. It's not something to be worried about. People are worried about their spouses, or if they will be connected to someone in heaven like they would be here on earth, all I can really say is that God will make all things new. Regardless of the answer, we will be fulfilled and heaven will be something to look forward to.

  • so if you see it that way the pre tribulation rapture is debucnt . Im not saying that theres no rapture all Im saying it will take place in the Day of ressurection

  • so thats why Paul the apostle said its mystery . Wen someone passes away in Christ that person will awake in the last day wich is the day the ressurection and that wat it mean to be absent from the body is to be present with Lord. Time itself will not be felt wile we sleep it'll be instantly.

  • to anyone who questions that we sleep when we pass and support the idea that were present with the Lord, well both ideas are correct . To b transform in a twinking of an eye to my understananding is a lost of consience of sleep to those who sleep and transformation of body to those who remain

  • yes i was and paul stated it many times.. phillipians 1:23 ....rev 6:9..2 samuel 12:23

also jesus raised lazerus from the dead..he was in paradise- the rich man and lazerus- he wasnt sleeping- jesus said to the thief today you will be with me in paradise- not your going to sleep- also the translation of sleep was death.. if sleep was where i go till the second coming and those that are not in christ are asleep.. theres no need of hell!! the rich man was there according to my bible!

  • @BLONDKNIGHT2003 THATS JUST IT!...THERE IS NO SUCH PLACE AS A HELL.

  • @jrock92804 There will be a hell... "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

    (Rev 20:9-10)

  • i believe in the rapture and the facts state it!! also this man of god believes you dont go to heaven when you die?? You got to sleep?? paul said to absent from the body is to be present with the father! so theres no hell?? wow my bible talks about it!! but its good to hear other views but i agree with the rapture!! amen!!

  • @BLONDKNIGHT2003 said, "paul said to absent from the body is to be present with the father."

Can you give a Scripture quotation, please? Are you quoting 2Cor.5:8? In this passage, the apostle Paul is speaking about the mindset of believers in the Christian life of sanctification. He is not addressing the state of the dead; that he does in 1Thes.4:13-18.

Christians are to be focused on our heavenly dwelling, the new Jerusalem (Rev.21:2; Heb.12:22).

    That is Paul's focus in 2Cor.5:8 ;)

  • @BLONDKNIGHT2003 Friend, Paul says in 2Co 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." He does not say, to be absent from the body IS to be present with the father!

(I wish I could underline the "IS") The "IS" is not there...However many Christians read the "IS" into it.

  • IF THE RAPTURE HAPPENS WHEN JESUS RETURNS, HOW WILL HE RETURN WITH TENS OF THOUSANDS OF HIS SAINTS? HE TAKES US UP JUST FOR A SEC TO BRING US BACK DOWN? BELIEVE THE BIBLE!!

  • @rkg62976 revelations says he returns with his saints

  • @7god7father7 Again, if you would like to have a dialogue, then please specify the Scripture text to which you are referring. It not only will help the person to whom you're responding (ie., me), but it will also help others who may wish to read our comments.

    Thanks. ;)

  • @7god7father7 WE GO UP TO HEAVEN WITH HIM WHEN HE RETURNS FOR A THOUSAND YEARS...THEN WE COME BACK WITH HIM AFTER THE THOUSAND YEARS ARE UP AND THATS WHEN THE RESURECTION OF THE WICKED HAPPENS JOHN 5:22-29 (TWO RESURECTIONS) (REV20:12,13) THE SECOND RESURRECTION

  • @7god7father7 REV 20:4 SAYS THE WICKED DOESNT LIVE UNTIL THE THOUSAND YEARS ARE UP....SO WHEN WERE IN HEAVEN FOR THE THOUSAND AND THERES NO ONE DOWN HERE ON EARTH THE DEVIL HAS NO ONE TO DECEIVE. THIS IS WHY REV 20:2, 7 & 10 SAYS THE DEVIL WILL BE BOUND A THOUSAND YEARS... ITS A METIPHORE CUZ HE WILL HAVE NO ONE TO DECEIVE.

  • @jrock92804 does it even matter? as long as you have salvation we shouldnt be arguing like children. it will happen as the Father wants it weather we know whats metaphore and what isnt. peace & love to you my friend

  • Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,except there come a falling away first,and the man of sin be revealed,the son of perdition;

No wonder many will depart from the faith.Wake up pretribers !! You have been deceived for the last 200 years amongst other things...

  • @calboww: What is the Tribulation? It is a pouring out of God's wrath against mankind. Those who are in Christ have already been found innoncent and made righteous in Christ. For God to pour out his wrath on those whom He has declared "innocent" - would be a great miscarriage of justice on God's part. Obviously, God is without sin - so we shall not face His wrath. When God removes the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit) - we who are the Temple of the Holy Spirit - are removed as well.

  • The problem with this video is that the teacher doesn't fully explore the argument for the rapture occuring prior to the second coming of Christ. I've studied the scriptures and have not yet determined how the prophecies will be fulfilled. The preacher has a right to promote his view on it but it would mean a lot more if he presented the alternate ideas and his reasons for why he doesn't agree with that view. The important thing to remember is that Jesus is coming for his church and to be ready.

  • in Matthew 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Revelation 19:7- 8 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come and his wide hath made herself ready. ( Wife is The Church True Christians)

  • @CALENA2002US Revelation 19:11 and i saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

14: and the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of Saints.

  • Is the world really this stupid?

  • also jesus himself said hell come back again and every eye will see him,he says nothing about coming in secret to rapture the church-jesus comes to earth twice, once as a servant, then as the king,we meet him WHEN he returns, and then we live with him on earth, because we are where he is,and he rules in jeruslum for 1000 yrs,we are there, this is the simple truth, god sends tribulation to both TEST and to wake people up,but people MUST REMEMBER ,through the suffering god is with us,stand firm in him

  • @andymcq2509 The bible says God will keep us "from" the battle of armageddon, not "through". watch Jack Van Impe explain it all.

  • if you are in doubt about wehter or not be go through the tribulation look at thiese events=noah, when the flood came he wasnt raptured,he went through it,moses and jewish people, when god sent destruction on eygpt they went through, not raptured, the times jewish people faced exile and extinction, including ww2,they went through it,not raptured,i believe we go through the tribulation as it will be the greatest time to reach out to people because when things happen we can show them the bible 2 b true

  • This is the example of the falling away that Christ spoke of..this man is leading his flock to the tribulation, and telling them they will go through it..TRUE for them...there is a difference in the BRIDE OF CHRIST that Christ will return for, and the CHURCH that will be left behind who did not live holy and seperate lives...It's a heart matter, and those who do not have the blessed HOPE and HOLINESS it will take to be raptured will still be listening to this man when Christ returns..

  • @mparker469

a false rapture created by satan!!!!

I never heard anything so absurb!

Clearly this man is control by demon spirits that knows the rapture is true and tells this man to lie about it because IT's going to HAPPEN!

He's a false teacher deceiving many into tribulation

  • @MultiThewatcher The same thing happened when Jesus was preaching around Judah and Israel; the Jews said that there was a demon inside Jesus. But we all know when Jesus said, there was no demon in Him. Doug is right on the money, when preaching the Bible.

  • How sad,the cataching up,is not something new.Just because the word rapture is not in the bible, doesn't mean it won't happen. The day of the LORD,IS DIFFERENT THEN THE DAY OF CHRIST.There is no such thing as soul sleep. When Christ comes back to gather his bride,IT IS SECRECT.Then,at the battle of Armageddon,ALL THE WORLD WILL SEE HIM.,ALONG WITH ALL THAT HAS DIED IN cHRIST AND HIS BRIDE.Duane Risko,Ohio.

  • THIS IS SOO TRUE

  • @TheCROSBY07 Doug is a false teacher!

  • what about the 10 virgins? a picture of a Jewish wedding? Let me get this straight, this guy thinks Jesus will allow His bride to get beat up and stress out over tribulation before we go to the wedding? Two women working in the field and one is gone, now where did she go? Did Enoch go thru the flood or was he kept from it? God refused to destroy Soddam/Gahmorah until Lot was out. The Lord comes back to fight the armies of the anti christ with His army, who makes up that army? in the cave to long

  • @pjz1967 Good Point, these people have to realize that the church will not see the tribulation but the Jews are going to, it's wrong to teach not to expect Jesus, that's what the 10 virgins parable is all about!!!! wise up people and read the Holy word!!

  • check out DR Owuor on here. the state of the church

  • When the Abomination of Desolation goes into the Holy place. Or when you see in the news that Jerusalem is surrounded by Armies. When you see angels blowing trumpets.

  • Graves will not be opening up like some michael jackson video. The dead in christ shall rise first, of course, because they are already with him. To be absent from the flesh is to be present with the LORD.

  • St. Martin of Tours (ca. 316-397) wrote, "There is no doubt that the Antichrist has already been born. Firmly established already in his early years, he will, after reaching maturity, achieve supreme power."

Many thought He would return at the 1st Millenium. After Jesus failed to return in 1000, some pushed the date of the End to the thousandth anniversary of the Crucifixion.

Pope Innocent III expected the 2nd Coming to take place in 1284, 666 years after the rise of Islam.

    Find humility.

  • Last Chance!

Thou shalt not........... Exodus ch 20 vs 4l

  • Last Chance

  • @anaismaris A great video to watch it Chuck Missler on the Rapture, you can find the video on YouTube and it clearly breaks all verses down and answers your question. I hope it blesses you.

  • You've had scoffers in EVERY AGE! There's been perversion and immoratity in EVERY AGE! People have been lovers of pleasure in EVERY AGE! Wars, pestilences, earthquakes....EVERY AGE! This belief that its going to happen in YOUR generation is just so much pride, arrogance and short-sightedness. Have you no shame? If you have any sincerity about this, pray for some historical perspective and for some spiritual humility.

  • @202rickh

yes you are partially right but Jesus Said concerning the last days there will be famines and earthquakes in may parts of the world. But all this is only the first of birth pains, with more to come. Matt. 24:7-8

Which means these thing will increase and become more intense the closer it gets. Just look at history over the years hasn't there been an increase of sin and a decrease in morals, and what about natural disasters such as hurricanes, Earthquakes.

  • @gsuslives1 I hate to hit you with objective fact, but Google "USGS Earthquake Frequency". US Geological Survey data: "As more and more seismographs are installed in the world, more earthquakes can be and have been located. However, the number of large earthquakes (magnitude 6.0 and greater) has stayed relatively constant".

How can you objectively say there has an "increase in sin"? How measured? Consider the sins of the past for just a moment...genocide, slavery, slaughter. Obsessed w/ sex?

  • @202rickh first of all concerning earthquakes there has been increase as you say, we maybe can detect more often, but they have become stronger in magnitude for example Haiti, Chile and other remote areas, and from personal experiences there has been more earthquakes here in California.

well concerning sin there has been in increase and how do i know because of the media. more and more sexual perversion in movies, music and television. An increase in drugs since the 60s and increase in murders

  • @MrSiklon762 Regarding the earthquakes....sorry....check the DATA. Your personal, self-serving, anecdotal observation is not a good basis for judgement. I gave you the link....go look.

Regarding "sin"....clearly you are, as expected, concerned with sexuality above other types of evil. Again, your personal observation is not particularly valid and, second, I care far more about starvation, genocide, poverty, slavery, etc. than with someone else's sexuality. Hey...there's a mote in your eye.

  • @202rickh

ok you believe in what you want i will believe in what in what i want.

Let me ask you a question what do you believe?

  • @MrSiklon762 Regarding the earthquake nonsense, its not a matter of belief...it's data....I'm not letting you off that easy. Did you look at the data? And will you agree to stop this nonsense about increased earthquakes, since you now know it's not true? What the heck is it about your "belief" that you feel you need to assert things that are demonstrably not true? Why does it give you comfort to believe in mythology?

  • @202rickh

Im sorry but you didn't answer my question.

And can see your obsess with wanting to be right about earthquakes.

  • @MrSiklon762 "What do you believe" is an impossibly broad question. I assume that what you mean is "Am I a Christian"? The answer is yes, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with the challenge I posed to you....which you have not addressed. Have you looked at the data, and are you ready to acknowledge that earthquake frequency has not increased?

  • @202rickh yes I've looked at the facts and i still stand on what i believe.

ok If your supposedly a christian do you believe that Christ is coming back?

  • @MrSiklon762 Have you looked at the data I sent to you? If not, what facts have you looked at? Be specific.

Yes, but it will be like a thief in the night; it is something we cannot know. I don't think I'm to spend my time trying to see if I can come closest to predicting the time, like some heavenly "Price is Right" game. It cheapens Christianity.

    And what does "supposedly" mean?

  • @202rickh

ok so you think we wont know when Christ is coming back, i agree with you there

but we will know the prior events before his coming see Matt. 24,

let me ask you one last question are you a born again believer?

  • @MrSiklon762 I am a Christian and, no, I probably don't define it (or that particular scripture) the same way you do. You are quite the dodger....again, what is this data you have based your belief on? What did you mean by "supposedly"?

  • @202rickh

what do you mean no ?

i base my beliefs and life around Jesus Christ and his Word.

What i mean is some claim to be Christians but don't really live like Christ.

  • Respond to this video...

So have you asked Jesus into your life and has he forgave you of your sins?

And if so are you living for Him?

Remember Jesus said you are either for me or against matt. 12:30

  • @MrSiklon762 Breaking News....I don't give a flip about your judgement. I suggest the 7th chapter of Matthew.

I challenged your thinking about End Times prophecy, specifically earthquakes, and gave you a reference to actual data....you have responded by 1) avoiding my questions and 2) overtly challenging my faith. That's not your job, Skippy.

Have you reviewed the data on the USGS site, specifically their article on Earthquake Frequency? What is the other source of data you referred to?

  • @202rickh i suggest you read Luke 6:45 which talk about from the overflow of the heart the the mouth speaks. And I Have Tried To figure out if you are saved and have tried to talk to you about Jesus. And you just want to win an argument.

Yes about judging others i have judge myself first and I do have Jesus in my life But do you?

Just remember We all sinned, and so the wages of Sin is death, But Jesus gave his own sinless life to save us, and if we repent and receive Him we will be saved.

  • @MrSiklon762 No....I'm just trying to keep your judgmental brain on the point. Why is it your job to try "to figure out if I'm saved"? Worry about yourself.

Either way it comes back to your accountability about the data regarding earthquakes....which, YET AGAIN, YOU ARE AVOIDING. Whether I pass your scrutiny or not, it doesn't change the fact that you cheapen Christianity with this centuries-old, quasi-superstitious guessing game. End Times gullibility is not a requirement of faith.

  • @202rickh It is my job to see if your saved.

Mark 16:15 -Go into all the world preaching the good news to everyone.

God has given us the Job of reconciliation 2 cor. 5:18

no i wont worry about myself so i wont let you go to hell

    Jesus Loves you

"behold i stand at the door of your heart. if you hear my voice and open the door i will come in... listen to the spirit & understand what he is saying to the CHURCHES." REV 3:20-22

  • @MrSiklon762 My goodness, you can always tell the new ones...

Look, about 2 hours ago you said: "ok you believe in what you want i will believe in what in what i want.". You seem to have cared less about my soul b4 you were challenged... Odd.

You also said "Yes, I have looked at the facts" (about earthquakes). ALL I'M ASKING IS: WHAT "FACTS" HAVE YOU LOOKED AT? Why are you resisting that? You made an assertion of fact...you've been challenged...you refuse to answer. You're hiding.

  • @202rickh ok i do believe you about the earthquakes and how new technology can detect less intense quakes i'll take your word for it.

what do you mean you can tell the new ones?

Just to clarify, the reason i started talking to you is so that you can now Jesus if you didn't already know him

  • @MrSiklon762 THANK YOU!!!!! Why the heck were you so resistant to that? And, fyi, it's not just detecting small ones...it's total count. Go look.

By new, I meant (sorry, but you asked) that you seem like you haven't been a Christian very long. Kind of like a guy that just quit smoking & is all "holier than thou" about it. Just an observation &, of course, I could be wrong. If so, I apologize. Not a crime either way.

I told you my faith early on..Why did you feel it necessary to preach?

  • @202rickh

Ive been a christian for a little over 2 years.

Just because people say there Christians doesn't really mean that they are. Matt 7:15

Thats why i find it necessary to preach, to Christians & non believers alike

I encourage you to live a Christ centered life and read your bible. think about what i said and God bless

  • @MrSiklon762 Yes...I certainly will. I'm confident that you will think about what you've learned tonight, too. A little humility is a good arrow to have in your quiver. 'Night.

  • @MrSiklon762 Matthew 7:21

  • @202rickh

While we do have better equipment in which to measure earthquakes, there have been more earthquakes in places that don't often get them. Natural disasters are on the rise, and will continue to rise.

One cannot deny that things are changing, regardless of the new equipment or not.

  • In regards to sin, there has definitely been an increase, especially an increase in acceptability. Homosexuality use to be a strong taboo, and never to be discussed, but it's not like that anymore. The television used to never allow any type of swear words, but it rarely is censored anymore.

Every story on the news is usually a story of some type of disaster, or murder, or shooting, something sin related.

  • Do you mind if I ask what you believe in in regards to christianity and the bible? What do you believe about Jesus Christ, as in, who he is and what he did for you? How is one saved?

  • @Myhopeisinhim See....you made this comment generally, and I almost missed it.

As I expected, you refer to sin strictly in the sexual sense. I've heard people saying what you're saying literally my whole life. Homosexuality has always been with us. TV, I-Net may be making it more visible, but not necessarily increasing.

I consider hunger, lack of education, poverty, genocide MUCH more sinful than sex. Sin is MUCH bigger than fundamentalists paint it. What's with the obsession about sex?

  • @202rickh

Oh I know it's always been with us. I'm just saying that things like this are gaining a more acceptable ground than what they used to be. What we are experiencing isn't quite the end, although it might be the start of the birth pangs, but not quite the end.

I'm just saying that we are starting to see a rise on these things, and even you admit, that things are changing in this world. I asked about your thoughts on the bible as not everyone who is a christian believes it all.

  • @202rickh

Some claim to be christians, yet, deny half of the new testament. Some claim to believe in God, or be christians, but don't really believe the bible. They believe its been corrupted over time, etc.

So I thought I might ask whether or not you believe all that is spoken of in the bible?

  • @Myhopeisinhim I do not believe that all current translations of the Bible are strictly correct. Per my study, it is my understanding that there are instances when we do not have the precise text. Eg, the last few lines of the last chapter of Mark...not there in the earliest and best manuscripts. Same for the story of the woman caught in adultery (John)...not there. So, no, I do not blindly accept what we have of the Bible as the inerrant word of God. Widely known stuff. Why does it trouble you?

  • @202rickh

I completely agree, one has to be really careful in regards to the bible translation. Some completely change the meaning of the original language. Have you done a study on the textus receptus, and the alexandrian manuscripts?

  • @Myhopeisinhim Yes, if by study you mean a respectable degree of reading. LOL. I mean, I'm no scholar, but, yes, I think I have a good base. Would quibble about your use of the phrase "original language". The "holy grail" of textual criticism is, of course, the quest for true original language, of which we have none.

  • @Myhopeisinhim Are you aware of how accepted homosexuality was in Greek and Roman times? Greatly exceeds our day. Again, throughout my many years of life, at every stage, people have lamented how "bad things are getting". People's perspectives are skewed by their sense of being at the center of things. "Believe it all" is an odd thing. Can I believe, yet believe different things than you?

Anyway, at least you are now saying that it "might" be starting. Might. That's progress.

  • @Myhopeisinhim What is your source? What are these places that are getting quakes that don't often get them? And as far as "natural disasters" go, what is your source (data, please) for stating that they are increasing? Are you aware of the monumental disasters and diseases of past centuries? Look beyond your own 75 years on the planet.

  • @202rickh

All one has to do is watch the t.v. and you'll see all the news discussions about it, all the meetings with the scientists, and the governments around the world that keep discussing global warming and mention the change it is having on our present world.

Everyone knows that this world is entering into a period of time where the weather is changing. The earth is warming up, and I don't even think I need to justify that with a source.

  • The question is not whether or not this is happening, but what is causing it?

  • @Myhopeisinhim Still waiting for your data source on "EQs are happening in atypical places". Your observation about Oregon is suspect. What is your source, other than your personal hope?

  • @Myhopeisinhim Yes, the weather is changing, as it has many times on our planet. It is exacerbated by human activity. Agreed. First, let's try to stop it and not throw our hands up and say "The End Is Near!". Second, so what....how do you get from there to it being a sign of the "end times"? And I didn't ask you to give a source on global warming (obviously true except to most Republican politicians). I ask for you source on EQ's happing in atypical places. Please answer that.

  • @202rickh

Actually, what is happening now is simply the start, it is no where near as bad as it is going to be in the future to come. This isn't the end, but merely just the start.

The bible does say that in the end these types of things will increase. There will be more famine, pestilences, earthquakes in diverse places. We'll see more earthquakes than we've ever seen before. But it isn't as bad as its going to get yet.

But in regards to unsual places...

  • Consider the 600 earthquakes that occurred off the central oregon coast in just ten days, a place that is not known for high levels of seismic activity. There are places that are pretty common for earthquakes, but then there are the places that are not known.

My point though is that natural disasters are on the increase, whether you want to stick solely with earthquakes or not, things are changing as you just admitted, and that is basically what we are trying to say.

  • The bible predicted that things would change in this world near the end of time, and as we move through time, we're going to see an increase in these things. I pray that everyone is prepared and trusting in Jesus.

  • You mentioned that you were a christian, although not how he/she might define christian. Do you believe the bible, and believe in Jesus Christ dying on the cross and shedding his blood for your sins and rising again the third day, etc?

  • @Myhopeisinhim Is this question to me?

  • @Myhopeisinhim Also, please try to comment in Reply to me. I'm afraid I'm going to miss some of your comments if you don't direct them to me. I don't want to miss any.

  • @Myhopeisinhim Oregon!?! Not a rare place for earthquakes at all! It's on the Pacific plate! Not sure where you are getting your info, but Oregon is not an unexpected place by any means. My point is that your statement that "natural disasters are on the increase" is merely your personal, anecdotal observation and is not based on data. Further, believers, in THEIR enthusiasm, have been making these predictions on what THEY observed for 2,000 years now. Maybe your lifespan isn't THE lifespan!

  • @Myhopeisinhim How do you know what will happen in the future? Yes, very predictably, EQs will happen, as will a lot of other bad stuff. So? Always has; always will. Are you aware of the 50 million who died in the 1940s (war); The many millions in the Spanish flu; the many wars from EVERY century of history; the monumental famines of the past? Do you consider that stuff when you make these claims? Can your ego handle the thought that your lifespan isn't the center of the universe?

  • @202rickh

The bible tells us very specifically future events. Do you believe the bible?

  • Yep, you asked me about how do I know what will happen in the future. The bible tells us exactly what will happen, so I was curious as to whether or not you believe the bible?

  • @Myhopeisinhim Tells you EXACTLY? "Wars and rumors of war" is not EXACT...name a century when that has not been the case? Seriously, name one. Pestilence? Do you think the poor folks in Europe, where about 1 in 3 dropped dead, thought the "end is near"? Is it that bad now? Famine? Ever read about the the Great Famine in the 18th cent, where the population reduced by 20-25% in Ireland? Just because you're alive & aware in the 21st century doesn't mean that's the time. Very prideful.

  • @Myhopeisinhim The Europe reference was to the 13th century "Black Plague". left that out....sorry.

  • @Myhopeisinhim I've said I am a Christian. So what's with the pop quiz? It's not your place to check my credentials to see if you approve (read Matt, ch 7). Is it possible that someone can accept the redemption of Christ and not buy into this hysterical end-times guessing game, void of rational thought & historical perspective? I've tried to point out the MANY, MANY people thru the centuries that, with equal reference to scripture, have predicted the end. Please address that question.

  • @202rickh yes you are partially right but Jesus Said concerning the last days there will be famines and earthquakes in may parts of the world.

  • @MrSiklon762 Same response (to the letter) as I got from gsuslives1. What's up?

  • @202rickh

sorry i accidentally was logged into my brothers acount

  • Can anybody tell me more about the verse that says that He will come at the last trumpet?

  • @anaisamaris ,What is a Trumpets in Bibcal prophercy it's a call out so that will the trumpet for the dead in christ to wakeup the day has come.

  • @Alfnzo My question about the trumpet was about been the LAST... if the rapture is at the Last trumpet, then the notion of been rapture before tribulation and that other stuff is not supported by the trumpet because it is the LAST one, Right?

  • @anaisamaris Yes, it's mythology. Move on.

  • @202rickh

    ???????

  • @anaisamaris You had a question about the Rapture. I assured you that it was merely mythology and you didn't need to worry about it.

  • @BradshawWatsonII ,The Devils has came down in a form of the angels of lights his snare is m ore than your brain, so the only way to victory is through Jesus Christ

  • Praise the LORD JESUS! NOW and FOREVER AMEN!

  • I am so grateful Doug shared this. I have been agreeing to disagree with many of my beloved Christian friends. . . not because I had a stand but because I didn't. I have just told my friends that I was not going to take my chances by waiting til' I see him before I will live for him and do all I can to be transformed by Christ!

  • Rev 3:10

It's like... The saints will be in a Ark(World) & the Flood (Destruction) will come upon the whole world again. Yet we won't be affected because God told us to prepare & we did ;)

  • @HolyTriX RIIIIIIGHT.

  • Comment removed

  • There is no secret rapture period!!!!!!!!!!

  • This men- Esau,(Rom. 9:13) he know nothing....false teaching.( 2 Cor. 11:13-15 He do not know Most High Name, he do not know Messiah Name, he do not know who you are.( he'll newer tell you) Wake up, people of JACOB, wake up ISRAEL!

  • 1 thessalonians 4:15-18 sweeps up the dead and then sweeps up the living to be with him in the air/sky heaven

  • Woe to the teachers of Iniquity, that teach a perverse doctrine. Nowhere in the Bible does it teach a physical Rapture, nowhere. These are the doctrines of men/devils. Psalms 37, the promise of Eternal life is on earth, for all who would recieve it, and He will rule from the throne in Jerusalem, The Law shall come forth out of Jerusalem, to the peoples of the earth and every man will go up and worship the Lord, This is what scripture teaches, not the false vanities of Rapture...

  • Take note that Paul said "Sabbath days", not "the Sabbath day".

In Colossians 2, Paul is really talking about the festival days and offerings of the Jewish customs, and not the Moral Code of our Lord.

  • O Really?

So you're actually saying to me that its already OK to kill or steal or cheat on my wife or worship Satan, because come on!!! We're already free from the law, right?

  • "He went to Nazareth, where He had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day He went to the synagogue, as was His custom. And He stood up to read." -- Luke 4:16

  • Does the secret rapture have testamentary evidence of an organized body of teaching prior to about 1830? No. Whether you attribute the teaching to Darby, Irving, or MacDonald, it wasn't until around 1830 that it found its way into anything other than an occasional peripheral speculation.

  • @tanfouk Correction Ephraim the syrian of the early church spoke of the Harpazo do ur research u will come to understand this is way out of Human hands or the Will of Humans

  • @Wildcelt0 But of course there's a harpazo it happens at the 2nd coming in 1 Thess 4:15 the word "coming" in the greek refers to the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ connected to Matthew 24:29-31 the church will be on earth till Jesus Christ appears at the 2nd coming not before the tribulation but after, and the rapture will occur at the 2nd coming Matthew 24:29-31 not before that, there is no verse or chapter saying Jesus Christ will come before tribulation if you can find one please send it to me

  • One thing I abhor is when talking with people I have to 'entertain' them to hold a conversation. It seems no one can have a straight conversation any more. "Lovers of entertainment" This applies to people who watch TV every day. It makes me so mad, ya know?

  • Genesis 19

15And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. 16And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

Lot was as wicked, the reason God delivered him was because of listening+Abraham

  • Genesis 18

3And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

    23

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

32And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

They couldnt find one righteous man

  • thats all from Genesis 19

  • 3And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. 4But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

  • 5And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night?bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 6And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. 8Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me,I pray you, bring them out unto you.and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

  • 9And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. 10But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. 11And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

  • It's good to know that you do recognize there is a Sabbath. What day are you calling the Sabbath?

  • you lie or are decieved when you teach sunday was law in the 3rd century.....early church fathers celebrated the new covenant with sunday worship begining in the 1 rst century....the catholics had nothin, nothin to do with it.....do a early church fatjers study online youll see.....elen tought 6 to 6....after it was sundown to sundaown.....decieved

  • ive put some time in the book of genesis

i just wrote a message about Adam and Eve as well

care to read them J post?

  • thanks,,,, haha i was confused for a second there.... how long have you studied this though man, you know what youre talking about

  • but also remember the sabbath and keep it holy go to church live church and try not to do anything bad but those laws back in the day were just foolish thats why Jesus did that stuff like raising from the dead healing the sick and giving sight to the blind, but those were great deeds and miracles that needed to be performed on any day but it was considered evil then Jesus' law is above the law they were focused on their self image and their own power that was a different situation
  • True that J post

when Jesus touched a dead body

which was forbidden by the law

HE ROSE SOMEONE FROM THE DEAD

but the pharisees were mad he touched a dead body

    wow

they were not that cool of a crowd

  • The Sabbath was created at creation. It was kept by God and all of the disciples. The Sabbath is mentioned throughout the NT even saying in Luke 4, that it was Jesus's custom to go to the synagogue on The Sabbath.

The only commandment not mentioned in the New testament is the 3rd. So do you condone using God's name in vain?

  • They were permitted to do the work of the Lord. The same as a person who is doing good is permitted and forgiven. The same as if a man pulled his goat out of a well.

  • Says who? Not the Bible.

(Mar 12:30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

(Joh 14:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.

  • Jesus created the Sabbath. There is no comparison between Jesus and the Sabbath. We have a creator and we have The Creators laws. The problem is that you think you are smarter then God. That He didn't really mean what He said. So since your so smart you'll just fix the day for Him. It's an inconvenience, I'll just change it for Him.

You change the Sabbath first. Bible Prophecy tells us that before the end times you will change them all. There will be no right, no justice then... destruction.

  • You are not following His example. Jesus kept the Sabbath. (Saturday) the 7th day. You are following the Pharisees.

  • Jesus did not break the Sabbath. This is a lie. Jesus lived a life without sin. It is not a sin to do good on the Sabbath.

  • So do you disagree with the Sabbath, the rapture, or some other doctrine. Or is it just Sis White you have a problem with? Because our church doesn't teach any of these things you've mentioned.

  • liars and decievers,,,,,christians were sunday worshippers long before the first pope.....see early church preachers of the first 300 yrs of the faith....this is sunday rez day,,,,,,,,freedom from the law.....salvation by grace

  • All the laws or just the 4th?

  • hello friend, you may quote things of ellen white but your taking it out of context.

The sda hold the bible as the guiding rule.

    I can assure you that.

Offcourse you have some that in their speeches talk about e white the whole time but the bible is the only rule of sda.

    God bless
