Yeah, it's probbaly a hard job and one worth a lot of respect. Thanks for watching and for being there to help keep our waterways and coastlines safe. Happy Memorial Day!
Pilots do not make 75-100 thousand dollars per year. They are officers of the United States Military, and make a fixed income depending on their rank. Basically, all Captains, or LT's in the Coast Guard and Navy, in the US Military makes the same, no matter if they are flying aircraft or are in Services, etc.
That's cool! You really know alot about them. Yes! They save many, many lives daily. If it weren't for their services, lots more lives would have been lost in the recent storms. We're very thankful for the USCG! Again, here's wishing you great luck with your endeavors.:)
lol, no...but I've flown in one. Not this type, a tour chopper in the mountains a long time ago. We see lots of military, Navy & Coast Guard trainers. We sometimes watch them practice. Watched a flight of Cobra attack helos once. They're awesome!
Hehehe! I build those out of CGAS Elizabeth City. The announcer is feeding BS. It may be the most advanced engine control system in the world, but NOT avionics and navigation...The new prototype we're building <MH-65C> has sat com, FLIR and HUD systems...bringing it a little further into advanced navigation. Still a fast, small helo. Good looking too.
How cool! Thanks for the info. I would love to fly in one. The Heads-Up Display and Forward Looking Infra-Red systems in our aircraft are tops! Thanks for watching.:)
Sorry for the mistake. It was hard to hear the announcer over the crowd and other airshow activities. No programs to get info from either. I've corrected it in the video discription now.:)
good video. i have got to start going to the blue's shows...
