The only reason the striker is called overpowered is because its semi auto. The only two other shotguns that can compete with it are the AA and the USAS. The AA has the lowest range, damage, and ammo. The USAS is a pump action without the pumping. I have all the shotguns gold but the striker and model so i can experience to speak from. All this needs is a lower rate of fire.

@ryrypkr i beleive that you misunderstood the statement. Quickscoping IS more difficult than using your weapon the way it was meant to be used. Although this is only marginaly so because of quickdraw insta-zoom. Good players use their weapons effectively, and putting yourself into cqb situations while you are equipped with a sniper rifle is not effective. This doesnt mean quickscoping doesnt have its place, but quickscoping just for sake of it on a consistent basis is just a bad look

@2010kylecloke not really, consistently taking account for lag and other various factors most shotguns will give you more consistant kills with damage then range, range only increases the range of a shotgun but doesn't increase its spread...so its not really that huge of a buff meanwhile damage can make a shotgun actually kill in more then half a clip

@InfiniteCharade It is if you get the Specialist bonus. With it, you get every perk and proficiency except for Damage and Attachments. If you plan to run Specialist, you might as well use Damage on the shotguns so you don't waste a proficiency.
