I think that year was whe Russel started studying the bible and started the Bible Tract Society.Not when Jesus was to become a king.You dont know how to calculate the 7times,do you?That gives you the year 1914...of his assuming power.
no it was refering to how Jesus had become King in the heavens in the 1870's. Something that the WT is telling happened in 1914. the teaching of 1914 (Jesus becoming King - won over satan and cast him down to earth) did not come before the 1920's.

I think trikker01 was quoting from the book published by Bro. Russel, "Studies in the Scriptures." But of course, that view changed when years passed by, the light got brighter and brighter and Jehovah revealed the correct understanding in His due time. It only saddens me to see people continuously quoting from obselete books and references that are no longer part of the revealed truth at the present time. They need to keep in step with Jehovah's Organization and accept the readjustments made.
