liar and tenement funsters were two of my faviorite songs. and stone cold crazy. we didn't just see this show but the tour the year before. white queen black queen. we saw nursery crime, foxtrot, selling england by the pound here and zappa lots of times. santa monica civic is great. drum corps friends. surfer friends. oh yeah, this is queen. here i stand started just like this and the stage exploded to light with 'just a new man'.
pedazo de genio Brian may con la red special, john deacon genial con la linea de bajo, roger taylor agilidad unica con la bateria,y Freddie ni hablar,su voz es perfecta en todos los tonos;conclusion: the best band ever
I was a year old when this concert happened. I grew to love them when I was about nine to. I wish I could have seen this live, so amazing! One of if not the best all around bands ever! I can't even put Queen in a genre they were above them all!
My God, I was 8 when this concert was made, I fell in love with queen at 9 bought there first 10 records and have dreamt all my life of seeing freddie and queen at this stage of their career, not a day goes by where I cant listen to or watch them. Coming across this concert is nothing short of sensational. Wish I could go back 35 years for just one night!
@itsinthelapofthegods Suddenly I think of a line from a song I heard but can't remember the name for it. "Give me just one night." lmao I totally agree. I wish I could go back in time to see them perform. They are nothing short of amazing.
Whoever got to see this concert consider yourself priviledged! I was only 10 and couldn't appreciate Queen at the time. They had it all, they are classic and are the gold standard of rock-n-roll. Long live Queen!
Freddie played more piano in the the early days reminds me of the concert and the chicago audutoriam in 1976 that I was at smaller venue were much better for them before they started playing the bigger venue and were superstars
@vitamincity I think that's quite hard to say.... I respect your opinion (in fact I think that this concert is absolutely amazing) but I personally prefer the Live Aid concert, where Freddie's voice was more mature
P.S. Sorry if I wrote something wrong, but I'm Italian :D
@rolflmaoweeee yes they were and I read that they wanted to go back and make music like the early days but then Freddie got sick. I'm glad Freddie recorded "I Want It All" right before he passed away.
Now this is what you call a rock band! Love Freddie's growl as he sing's Liar. His voice was the best here, when he's on the piano you can envision the same face 10 years later it's still the same Freddie, love him.
@JIF882 Yes, Night At The Opera had just been released in Nov '75 and this is Dec '75 here. The Night At The Opera tour went into '76 to the US, Australia & Japan after England. If you watch Part 1, the Old Grey Whistle Test (the live concert TV show in Britain) filmed this and introduces it.
I guess Freddie changed his outfit from white to black. He was such a great frontman.

@bloodsling I was thinking the same thing. The sound mix is excellent. I'm sure this has been digitally remixed though.

This is by far the best concert of Queen I've ever heard. It's amazing. Better than Live Aid, or Wembly.
