I am totally blown away by the great guitarist's here on youtube and am inspired daily by watching their videos.
I dont believe in art there is a best, I think you just keep doing what comes to you and if you get rewarded, you are blessed.
I got to play with EVH at a NAMM show back in 84. I am still in awe of him. He is one of a hand full of guitarist's out there that are absolutely truly gifted.
wow! and to think I used to take lessons from this guy and have seen some of these moves up close! (and still have them on graph paper written in PENCIL!) Rockin' Mike! ----Brad from IA
When I wrote this tune I thought it was neat. It puts a smile on my face folks like yourself like it to! Boy I wish I was a new guitarist. The net is now making it possible for people to discover other players that are out there.
I really mean it when I say I am humbled. I play what I hear in my head and it really fires me up. It makes me smile that it touches other people as well.
Check out the Clark, Pauken, Ricketts CD. The version on the disk is way better than this. This video is the demo that I sent to Jeff and Molly in pre-production for the recording I would bet that you like the rest of the disk as well!

This guitar was put together by Jim Ellicot, a craftsman and former student from Morrisson Illinois. He started about 9 am on a day back in 1987 and finished at 7 pm that night. I grabbed the guitar and scurried off to my gig. That was 20 years ago and to this day that guitar is as close to perfection as you are going to get.
I am very proud of it. New York ESP Body and Neck, Seymour Duncan JBs and a Floyd, Life is good :)
Wow! Thanks for turning me on to him He is an awesome player. I love his syncopation. I had a neck through ESP for a while but sold it. The one I have is made from ESP parts before they became a name. They supplied the necks and bodies to Kramer during the early days.
The song was written and copyrighted some time back but am just now releasing it on the Clark, Pauken, Ricketts (CPR) CD. IT will be available through all the download sites as well as Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Once it is out I can get you the tab for it.
Yeah Lydian is not an easy fingering so I dont think players would hang there much but you need to know it so that you dont have any holes in your vision of the fretboard.
Wow Thanks! I really dont know much about him other than watching the videos of him and David Lee Roth on MTV years ago but I know he is a major player and I am flatterd!
wow this stuff is the killer!!!

10-46. I like those cryogenic strings but they are hard to get so if cant find them just use the straight GHS Boomers.
Thanks for watching.
