Without us being hidden in Christ Jesus we shall never enter into heaven. This transition
will only take place when we stop the conformity of the world and allow the transformation of our minds. For GOD said thru Paul, "Be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. The transformation in the transformation into the like-mindedness of Christ. For GOD said, "Let this mind be in you that is in Christ Jesus. Nuff said! 14givn70X7
this my song i sing at church god is good all the time no matter what you have a hidden place in god love no matter what you go through god is able all the time.life hurts some times listening to this song life is more easier to go through
Don't miss the New Jersey Mass Choir Reunion Concert coming in the Spring of 2012. I will post more details as soon as I can ... (member of the New Jersey Mass Choir)
It never fails...this is the cry of my soul...my absolute favorite from Day One back in 1987 when I bought that cassette tape and popped it in...God bless the New Jersey Mass Choir of that time, every time I hear this song my soul surrenders to God...just beautiful..
I heard this lady singing this song at a church over 15 years ago. Our church choir was visiting another church and this lady sung this so and my people were leaving but I was frozen in my seat and never forgot. It wasnt until I was grown in my 30's that I was able to finally locate this and havent lost it since. I love it!!
this song hits home the lord is always there and he dont give up working on you it gives me strenght and moviation when i hear this i can do it no matter what
You got that right! I was in a record store and I couldn't believe my eyes when I found it... needless to say this album turned my record player into an annointment machine
this song is so beautiful,,,i am ashamed of the fact that i don't attend church like i should ,,yet somehow i feel that god would still take me under his wings if i learn to accept him not only on Sundays but in my everyday existence, I'm writing this with tears in my eyes right now
I grew up listening to this song and it still calms my soul when I listen to it. I can remember listening to this when our family faced storms we should never have made it through. Thank God for the hiding place inside of Him! He never leaves, forsakes, or deceives..so good to have that assurance.
Yeah, this takes me way back! Whenever I needed a LIFT...I would play it over and over. HE (what I choose to call God) really, really, truly, most assuredly, undoubtedly is a hiding place. And I mean it!
I agree. There's so much about this song that you can pick out...the lyrics, the chorus...emphasis on certain lyrics, the crescendo's...It's like they all were certainly of "one mind" when they recorded this. Yes, he really is my Hiding Place.
Play it over and over, Monterio12. Make it your souls anthem, now and in the future. Storms are temporary, the sun/son is forever! Just covered up now and then by a few clouds. But the sun/son, is ALWAYS there. Peace,
I love this song! I used to love going to church and listening to this when I was a child. It always excited the audience, and someone would sure enough begin to shout. This is the type of song that will give you goosebumps and make a sinner repent.
song was a source of such peace & calm to me many many yrs ago. good to revisit and know that God is still the same, He will always be my hiding place. Praise God
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide and remain fixed under the Shadow of the Almighty....His Word runs very swiftly!!!Thanks for the posting!!!!!
Mydsmber05...Amen...a close personal relationship with Christ....
I completely agree. Even today...still can't get enough of it. And I believe her, the soloist and the choir each time I hear it. I get what they are singing about...and I get excited every single time. God I fee grrrreaaaat!!!

This song to me represents everything good about gospel music, from the beautifully layered production, to the soloists vocal and that tight arrangement the choir sings to the most important thing of all... the message of a close personal relationship with Christ where when the rest of the world is crumbling you always have some place to turn to
This song is beautiful! Who is singing the solo on this song? Also, where can I find the cd where they sang "I Want to Know Where Love Is." I can't find it anywhere.
HALLELUJAH! This song brought me through my turbulent Teen years!! I found Jesus through all my pain...Psalm 32:7 & Psalm 91! Thanks for posting this song...I appreciate you!
ive been looking for songs by Donnie Harper and the New Jersey Mass Choir, a tape recording done in the late 80s - anyone know where I can get this recording or their rendition of the old favourite Jesus is all the world to me. thank you.
Do you know which church was the home of The New Jersey Mass Choir? Donnie Harper plays at Faith Temple on Sussex Ave (Newark, NJ). Keith Pringle sang with NJ Mass Choir. Is he from Jersey? I know Keith Pringle is the protege of the early Rev. James Cleveland.
I have been looking for this song for years! This song brought me through so much in my life. It's a classic and I LOVE IT! Thanks for who ever posted this.
@jturner1275 And now 25 years later, it STILL ministers to my spirit. Glory to GOD in the highest.
