  • See, i'm not the person posting "how did i get to this part of youtube" cause i'm smart enough not to click "middle school gossip" ....i see what you did there youtube. o.0 i come to watch a simple video of the song my choir's doing and you try to trick me.

  • Beautiful! My children's choir performed this as part of a national children's choir festival under the direction of Dr. Rollo Dilworth. In fact, we were lucky to have Paul Caldwell join us as a guest and he played percussion for us. It is amazing to hear the power of the older voices with so many musicians and singers. I just love this song and this is performed wonderfully!

  • Powerful performance!

  • Chills at 6:16. I fucking love it.

  • Chills at 6:17. I fucking love it.

  • holy crap that's alot of people!! O.O

my high school's doing this song in like 12 days and all the there's only 140ish people. this looks like 2-300 people

  • @RyokoSensei This is a full six choirs; I was in the loft on the left of the stage. It was amazing to be a part of this performance.

I've sung this song with three separate groups. Once with my high school choir of about 100, once with my church choir of about 20, and with the Luther College choirs you see here. Good luck to you, and HAVE FUN. This piece is always amazing.

  • @RyokoSensei It's actually over 600 musicians (550ish singers) spread through Norsemen, Aurora, Cantorei, Cathedral Choir, Collegiate Chorale, Nordic Choir, and Symphony Orchestra. This piece opened Christmas at Luther last year and closed it at Christmas at Luther in 2002. There's a fabulous recording of the 2002 performance (with children's choir) on YouTube.

  • I wish i sung this song again, I sung it when i was in 7th grade with my 8th grade choir

  • My college choir is doing this piece this year!! I love it so much!

This is such a huge choir and a great orchestra! I love the way this group interpreted this piece. so beautiful!!

  • @lilyballerina Thank you! Good luck with your choir! ;)
