I got a couple Norther cds and, really, about 90% of their up-tempo songs sound the same.. I mean there are obvious melody differences, but the guitars during the verse sound the same, and the lyrics are all generally the same... They aren't bad, but they don't have a ton of diversity between the two albums I got.

and here's a tip for you guys. I haven't heard any of northers new songs with the new singer buuuuut the new vocalist was the lead vocalist for Imperanon if I understood correctly which, imo is another amazing band that i really wish was still together << but anyway...Check out Imperanon to get a glimpse of what the vocals are like. But knowing Imperanon and Norther, i'm pretty sure it'll still sound sweet :D

I like Bodom's font! No complaints here. I finally decided to check out Norther...Got to talking with a bartender downtown about metal, and he recommended them. They are rocking my ass, so far! I've seen their name so many times whilst searching for new music, and skipped over them due to the "generic" band name. Hell, I admit, I've been missing out!
