att has shit for service at least where I am located in the Northern VA are , I have a bold and an iphone 3gs and the only reason I have an iphone is that I cant get signal on the bold in my house and the iphone has 3 bars? As soon as they release a new iphone and everyone and their mother activates it the 3g bandwidth for others not using iphones on att (ie. bold 9700) are shit out of luck. Wait for the The Black Pad to come out., then it is over....This guy is either high or on crack!

As a company that provides phones for the business community, the Torch is really making leaps and bounds. The point isn't to create another iphone, it's to create a device that's still a go-to for companies as far as email and professional OS goes, but make it "cool" enough for the kids that moan and whine about how it's not as sweet at the iphone or android. Get your head out of your ass and appreciate what RIM offers here! Loving the phone!

This is a good phone for someone who has never experienced an iphone. This phones performance is choppy and despite all its awesome features doesn't have the speed or smoothness required to make it great. I'll agree it's a big leap for blackberry but it's never going to amount to the iphone.

This blackberry is very jumpy; they need to fix this phone before releasing it. People companied about the reception issues, and people will complain about the torch because of it's functionality. I can see a lot of problems with this.

It does everything I want and more, I agree with you and its my choice instead of the iphone. No apple for me, I like my removable battery, sd slot and freedom to do what I want, when i want with my phone, and on top of that it holds calls for hours on end no matter how i hold it.

This is a big step for Blackberry. My company requires the use of RIM phones and, since they pay for the phone and the service, I use one. I hope this one will be more user friendly for web browsing than the older model RIM phones. I will get one in September and do a review from a real world business user.

This is the first BETA OS 6.0a as you can see it still has the old black keyboard layout. The one that was shown on WES 2010 is the almost complete OS 6.0 with still more room for some goodies (features)....
