Patsy Cline had a powerful voice that Alison couln't compete with on that level. But listen to the audiance applause and see if she didn't do it complete justice.
The cool thing about watching these on youtube is you can see Alisons voice getting better and better as time goes on. Watch when you say nothing at all when she first started singing it compared to now.
Patsy Cline returns to Carnegie Hall! How magical that Allison Krauss chose to sing this at this Opry performance. Cline made her Carnegie Hall debut with The Opry on November 29, 1961 and was quite a sensation with the audience, so much so that she had several standing ovations. When Dorothy Kilgallen called them "hicks from the sticks" Patsy shot back "If I ever meet that wicked witch of the east, I'll let her know just how PROUD I am to be a hick from the sticks!"
Pasty doesn't have anything on Allison. Alison Krauss is the greatest female vocalist of all time.

One octave higher than Alisons natural perfect pitch. She still did it better than anyone else alive.
