PC is niche, the more something cost, the more niche it is (or the more you have to invest in it). Something that is harder to attain is just used a lot less, it'a simple equation for anything. Consoles are for mainstream. The trade-off is lesser graphics and non-dedicated servers (which I don't actually know the reason for(servers that is)).

Still, I got a gaming pc this winter (budget build) and I must say I love it.

PC gaming is not restricted as console gaming is. It has more flexibility, you can create custom maps, create mods, better connection etc.

And the reason why games come out after console versions because it sells better on the consoles. So the companies are more greedy, and want money ofc.

@kurtanglerocks555 C&C uses hosting p2p. That works barely ok in an RTS. In an FPS you need low ping. And the way the bar-ping system works (on consoles your connection is mesured by bars, same on PC for mw2, it's stupid. Why console gamers wouldn't be allowed to see the ping is because then people could do PC vs Console on the ping issue. And PC will be better as it runs dedicated servers, exception mw2.)

And not even C&C is that terrible. "i hate PC games" then you hate games.

OH, and i forgot to mention, because hacking is so easy in MW2 on the PC version (steam's security is shit, hacking in the game is everywhere) someone who is the host can crash the server if, say, they got killed right before a nuke, they can also kick people, provided they unlock the console. steam doesn't detect these simple hacks, and the game's multiplayer is essentially broken.

To the console gamers who post here saying that it works fine without actually playing the PC version or knowing what dedicated servers are:

on the PC version, aimbotting / wallhacking runs rampant, and there are no admins to ban them, you see a botter in every 4-5 matches.

On the PC version, host migrations crash the server about two in every five migrations.

On the PC version, your tactics are very different than they were in COD4 as a result of high lag.
