Why is this song in Arabic when it should be in Hebrew since it is representing Judaism and Israel not Palestine. THat why Palestinians after say that we steal their music.

there was such a thing jedo arabic language , it was the language of the jews who sat on Arabic countries like yemen , morocco syria lebanon egypt and iraq.
this song is a well known moroccan wedding song in Israel, the band who perform this song is an Israeli band that it's members are morocccan origion.
the arabic in this song is not palestinian at all.

I know but Palestinains still get mad and say we steal their land and music. I believe that just like the Ashkenazi Jews got rid of their Yiddish which was hard for them and sing in Hebrew now thats what we should do. On top of that other Arabs also complain of our Arabic Jewish music.

I know it was my granparents language as well but b4 my great grandparents were born their language was Hebrew our ancestors and blood alnguage is Hebrew and Palestinians get mad cuz Arabic is their language they say.

You are right and we should show them that even our Arabic Jewish culture is better then theirs hahaha. Anyways some Palestinians sing in Hebrew sometimes. We should be proud to be Israelis whether Ashkenaz or Sefardi we r all one nation and ppl again. Arabs also complain of our Israeli Debkah dances.

first not just model and top models but famous ppl who are well known (ofra haza for example is a singer and yael abukasis is an Actor , shiri mimon a singer).
but the simple reason is that I can't go and take pictures of ppl in the street and then post their pictures without their permition. while In the celebs case , there is no problem since the pictures where already in the public space.

very interesting your case , I agree about the jewish roots of some palestinians but i'm not sure it's a vast number since the population back then was very little and many Arabs become palestinian after imigrating to Israel from egypt , syria , Jorden (the rigion ,before Jordan was a country,mghrab etc').

no my grandparents on both sides were jews who lived in Palestine before the state of Israel was created in 1948 so they just never accepted israeli citizenship we have palestinian citizenship

I know that but they never accepted it, because they lived in Jerusalem so they stayed there, they consider themselves Palestinians...now only my grandfather on my moms side is alive and he lives in Jerusalem..and the rest of us live in the U.S

Not that I'm doubting you - but how do you have Palestinian citizenship? Palestine was a part of teh Turkish Empire, then under a British Mandate, then Israel - there hasn't been an independent Palestine state (yet - in the future there will be), so how do you have citizenship in a country which doesn't technically exist?

there is truth in it my friends, some ppl did converted to jedaism in Yemen, and this is how the yemeni genes entered the jews.
Yemen once was a jewish country , and some yemeni muslims ppl know that they have also some jewish blood in them.
But we still originated in Judea and thats why we are called jews although other genes have entered our blood.

she came from Yemen and we are jews. she refers to the others as.... Arabs....
I showed her a yemeni movie ( a Day in San3a by Bader ben hirsi) and she said to me....they are Arabs.
so for your question, the Jews in Yemen saw themselves as Jews in a national way.
How ever , the relationship between jews and arabs in Yemen where very good and it seems that the yemenis saw the jews as yemenis.

question: interesting how jews are present in arabic chats and discussions. they claim, and true it is, moroccan,tunisian,yemenite,iraqi,roots. while they speak arabic they do not consider themselves arabs. Christians, however, do. In fact Arab-nationalism was started by them. On the other hand, no Arabs (muslims i guess and christians) particpate in Jewish chats. Is the problem religious? Ethnic? or is it just a property dispute and the whole region got dragged into a conflict?

we Jews came from our ancestors from Jedea , (that is why we are called jews), our religone was a Firm Tool to keep our natinalism alive when we where outSide of Israel.
