There are no excuses for why she was off key when the video ended. Being young doesn't mean nothing. Look up Christina at 8-13 13. JC at 15-17, Stephanie Mills, Beyonce 12-16, Michael Jackson at 13-19, heck even Britney Spears when she was 11 -12. Age doesn't mean anything in having a voice. She simply can't sing too well, but that's okay. She's a success and found where she can fit in in the business, but just don't make excuses about her age being a factor for her lackluster singing.
Her voice has DEFINITELY improved. Compare this to her performance of Russian Roulette on SNL. This is decent, though. Shame she never recorded a studio version of this cover.

Her voice has DEFINITELY improved. Compare this to her performance of Russian Roulette on SNL. This is decent, though. Shame she never recorded a studio version of this cover.

She was fifteen at the time and was probably finding her voice. Although, I think she over did it with her improvisations (especially towards the end).
Most times doing those improvs are done through professional training with a voice coach so that its done at the right time. The girl can sing, but she doesn't know

The beginning was good...........but then it started hurting my ears. She's just not a singer....but people write catchy songs for her, and plenty of people love her, so she'll be fine. She'll always have a career.

Alot of great artists can sing while at 15. Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Xtina Aguilera none and I repeat NONE of the sound like that. Some people can sing, some can't. Rihanna should just stick to modeling. Have you seen her AMA performance? That's just proof that she can't sing well.
