Before the crash he touted publicly about how great thier business model was and how much of a contribution they where to home buyers. That was in 2007. Look it up. The last part about him only getting 35k is an outright lie. I don't know where you heard that, but he personally made 1.6 - 1.8 million in consulting fees, it was not a part of any business he had.
