To be honest I haven't found yet an artist whose style is look like Picabia's. And of course interactions among artists do exist! But it doesn't mean that they are not original!

Picabia's work is nice, but it is also furthest from being called original. He copy cats the styles of his great co artists in a good way.. Or should I say in an original way!!? :-)
I believe that prejudices and unwillingness to accept new ideas are very big obstacles for admiring the real art. Let's be more open to anything different! Francis Picabia is a dadaist. His style is unique and of course not conventional! I really don't understand what you mean!
Dear Arwen.. I totally agree with your remark about open keeping an open mind.. To tell you the truth I forgot about my remark and do not remember why did I have to write it.. However, knowing where Picabia stands in the history of modern arts I still do not admire his work as such,.. I know his partial dadaist belonging against which I have nothing at all (probably the contrary) but I think that his work is rarely original..

He never had his originality but was rather always cloning the styles of other great artists..
