Rex almost choked away the Seattle Divisional game but Ricky Manning bailed them out with a late pick and Lance Briggs bailed them out by stopping Shaun Alexander on 4th and 1 as well. The reason they trampled New Orleans in the NFC Championship was because the D turned the tide by forcing Brees into a safety when the Saints had momentum and Thomas Jones/Ced Benson carried the offense Rex's only play was a lob that Berrian pulled down.

When he played well coached D's like Green Bay, Miami (Nick Saban is a great defensive coach), Indianapolis, and New England the Bears always lost because of him. But he even struggled against terrible D's like Arizona and Minnesota. Rex was not a big reason the Bears made the Super Bowl frankly if you

With separate teams for offense and defence most of the players seem to spend most of the time just standing around and only actually get a couple of minutes of game time.
