yes it's auto targeting all you have to do is put any thing you need to shot in side the big aiming on the screen and than shot what ever you like : )

i have it it's really good game!! i wish this company make more final fantsy games like this or you fight with a sowrd but like action rpg like dark cloud or zelda or roge galaxy i am a big fan of action rpg games i am not that good at turn base type rpg.i got some of them but i don't played them much. and actualy you can switch the view to third person at this game.

This is 3rd person shooter. 1st person shooter is when you can only see the the aiming mark and parts of your arm/weapon.
