  • AAAAHH!

  • thank you

  • cat at the end haha

  • Excellent video, SPANISH PLEASE

  • OREGON TENNIS FUCKING SUCKS!!!!!!

  • Excellent Instruction. It isn't easy to learn from a video, but you made this as easy as it can possibly be. I was somewhat surprised that I got it perfectly on the first try. Thank you! The steelhead are waiting..

  • Excellent instruction!!! Made even simple for us hardheaded midwesterners to understand. Thanks!!! Heading for Alaska in about a month. With hooks tied, now all I need is roe and a cooperative fish or two (or three or four, etc)

  • @nuprofessor cool. which part of AK do you go to and how did you do this year? I go to south central and, like so many others, i'm addicted and swim upstream that way annually.

  • @littlegoobie

Usually fish the Kenai (upper & lower) and the Kasilof.

Kings were slow- got one (about 28#) & wife got one (30#) on the Kasilof. None on the Kenai.

Several reds on the Kenai around Soldotna.

Caught some silvers, but they were on a charter out of Whittier.

  • haha im in eugene too, go ducks! thanks for the great vid this was helpful!

  • great video!

cat at the end was thinking, when's he going to catch me a fish ; ) lol

  • This Is also a great know for keeping salmon eggs on while fishing for trout. I also use it for surf fishing (ocean) with muscles and they stay on very good.

    Great video!

  • is it neccessary to make the second round of loops because I always use this type of knot with one round of loops then tighten everything. Is this also the same loop for the eggs from one of your videos?

  • lmao cat looking at the table at 4:11

  • best explanation on the web

  • this video was amazing thank you

  • Yeah Eugene, I love this town. Thanks for the quality videos

  • its almost like a hair rig for carp fishing.

  • Good! I'm glad you got it figured out and that I could help a bit!

  • k i replayed this vid about 8 times and i got er done!

  • i can tie a lot of knots, but every year this dam knot pisses me off even with a videos! this knot is not for me! i always buy em pre tied!

  • I have tried to tie this knot so many times from a book but watching this video, is all I needed, thank you so much, FISH ON!!!

  • Thx for the tutorial KNot-Man

Keep on Smoking tough and hookin up them steelies. Peace! from the mighty "Cow."

  • just curious. what advantage does this have over the basic glo-egg or egg flies you make by the fly tying method? I tie lots of egg flies and am wondering what this is all about?

  • One advantage is that if you attach roe or shrimp or other baits in the loop, you have scent that can help fish home in on the it in stained water

  • Thats the best video yet Thanks bro!

  • I didn't know there was a bunch of these pre tie tutorials.... dammit. Mine looks like crap, but its got the Tripledub touch(which is like the touch from your drunk friends gf after she had a few too many.... it feels good at the time but afterwards you regret it.) TEAM TRIPLEDUB out.

  • lol yeah thanks a lot man, ive been trying to figure that damn knot out for a while now.

hehehe, looks like the cat wanted to come play as well

  • thank u for posting a clear egg loop lesson!! i got it in 2 trys . hope to catch some fish with it

  • The cat's entrance into the waning moments of this piece of line craft art clearly validates the sincere, professional quality of this toqued knot-a-teer. Cats know good caviar line cinching, and this feline's presence is an incredible endorsement to this fishing man's finesse with the mono-filament. Five stars! and one to the cat! C U @ Cannes baby! Aulocogen!
